Meet Chris Martin of Hempfulfarms in 19th Ave and Bell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Martin.

Chris, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
In 2012, I was raided for making Zonka Bars, and edible Candy bar Line in Arizona as a patient.

My wife, Andi and I were charged with over 25 different felonies including Narcotics and Sales.

We fought our case for 3.5 years before being sentenced to prison eventually.

Once in prison, I was denied visitation with family and medical treatment for Crohn’s. I fought every day to live. I started a program called Coloring Books for Convicts to help showcase talent in prison. I now film cooking shows and have launched a cookbook called Convicted Creations.

I also established all of my brands and structured them corporately from prison as well. Staging for growth upon my release.

I was released in 2017 and since I have opened three retail locations, signed a partnership with As Seen On TV launching our brands nationally and have completed my Book “One Life” and my documentary coming out December 1.

I travel the country teaching about the benefits of Hemp and cannabis now and have completed my prison sentence. Donating my community service hours to NICU by making blankets.

It’s an honor to be able to teach to this day.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
After spending two separate stints in prison for cannabis, it has definitely been a challenge. While in prison, this time, my co-defendant tried to set me up to take the charges while he stole my Zonka Bars Brand. We found out during the trial, we were being set up.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Hempfulfarms – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Hempfulfarms was one of the Original Hemp CBD business’ in Arizona. We are the first TM Hemp cafe in Arizona also! We create over 40 products from industrial hemp from topical to edibles and even pet products.

We are linked to three outstanding farms and source only the finest of help including isolate, distillate, and even CO2 extracted; cold press.

We are most known for my Cannabis Brand Zonka Bars. We were the first edible candy bar company in Arizona and the first to be raided as well. We relaunch our candy line in a few weeks as well as our full lime Zonka strains and edibles.

As a company, we are most proud of our organic growth, resiliency, and the ability to adapt for growth. We have been around since the beginning and have seen many companies come and go. We have withstood the test of time and are growing so quickly. We have recently opened retail stores in California. And New Mexico too.

We are a family company, owned and operated by the Martin family and friends. What sets us apart is our attention to detail and our willingness to adapt to this ever-changing market. There is only one Hempfulfarms. We like to say, “Start your day the hempful way!”

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We have recently launched with As Seen On TV with our national Hemp Campaign starting 9/3. We are opening our fourth store on October 1 in New Mexico and my book “One Life” and a documentary with the same title launches the same date.

The relaunch of our Zonka Bars happens In just a few weeks. It’s been a 7 years wait and comeback run to relaunch these ever famous icon edibles. Phoenix and beyond are excited.
