Meet Chris Aird

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Aird.

Chris, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Having a sense of a “calling” and business intuition, I knew after one year of college that I needed to be doing something bigger for me so I joined the Navy. I learned a lot there that I can apply to each tomorrow and today. After almost six years of service, I came back to Phoenix and worked for “Corporate America” and enjoyed growing, learning, and applying various personal and business ethics to the workplace and for our customers.

I became a pastor/Executive Director for The Salvation Army to which during this time, my heart for people and mind for the business came out as I served a community. During this time, I worked hard for my Bachelor in Ethics & Leadership and then on to receive a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership. Left this role in July of 2014.

I started working for a foster care agency in September of 2014 and recognized in December that the business could be so much better. So I talked with my boss who was very supportive of the ideas and took them to the owner which was not. Solutions were presented for the culture of the organization, the revolving door of employees, morale, and so much more.

As 2014 turned to 2015, I went to a couple of mentors and they encouraged me to marry my experience in leadership and business with my degrees and become a change agent as a Business Consultant to help companies (for-profit and non-profit) become a better version of themselves. The purpose was born and is a thriving company built to serve others with a heart for people and a mind for business.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road.

Struggles: I’m not a risk taker
Didn’t have enough financial resources
Frustration, fear, stress and the like kicked in
Didn’t have my first client until 13 months later
Didn’t have a network locally

Watching the World Series from 1988.
