Cheyanne, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve always been intrigued by all things beauty! Growing up, I taught myself to cut hair on my dolls & barbies. Learned how to apply makeup thanks to my mom’s extensive background in the industry & her mass collection of cosmetics, as well as having a baby sister to practice on!

Surrounded by beauty professionals my whole life, I felt motivated to offer services that address my own concerns. I’ve never been able to tan. I only burn. I also care about the long-term condition of my skin, so practicing safe sun was a no brainer. What goes with tan skin? White teeth of course. And that is how Sun AZ was born!

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
A few minor obstacles we have had to overcome. I have a strong support system I call my friends here in Arizona. They have made transitioning into a new industry smooth & prosperous from the jump! We are a referral-based business, word travels fast when the results are rewarding!

Secret Sun AZ – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Secret Sun AZ specializes in organic teeth whitening and airbrush spray tanning. I’m proud to offer an affordable, organic alternative to whitening trays and strips, as well as Cancer causing UV rays, tanning beds & the orange, splotchy mystic tan.

Our teeth whitening service uses plant-based whitening serum in combination with LED light. Without the harsh peroxide-based whitening serums found in most whitening agents. Total process is 45minutes. Clients achieve an average of 3 shades whiter and without tooth sensitivity!

We have customizable color options for airbrush tanning to achieve that golden natural color you desire. We call this “the safer way to sun”. We carry an organic fruit-based tanning solution option as well.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career so far has been the amazing feedback, referrals and mentions I have received an outpouring of positivity from my community! A referral is the ultimate compliment.
