Chenoa, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
The journey of Walu Child started in 2012, during a major shift and turn of events in my life. Leap forward into 2014, I was guided to start a YouTube channel where I uploaded my very first tarot reading.

Business offers started to roll in unexpectedly, as I wasn’t seeking to profit financially. It was a personal outlet and desire to help others in their life journey that inspired me.

Within the same year of starting my channel, I went from working a 9-5 job to working from home. Amazingly, my channel is currently at 19k subscribers! Chenoa is much more than a tarot reader, a mommy and animal lover…

I also specialize in fashion and styling. Which consist of handmade jewelry, hair styling, and clothing. I’m very elated to see where my journey is going to lead me next! Walu Child Readings is a major business in the making. Watch out for me, because I’m here!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It was definitely not an easy road, my business took time to build. By this age, I thought I’d be a mega r&b star, as I love to sing. No, seriously that was my childhood dream! Embracing my spiritual “superpowers” was definitely not in my plans.

I originally wanted to be a veterinarian. At 21, I went to a community college for a veterinarian assistant program. This path ended up not going so well for me, as the universe had other plans. Though my love for animals never changed. I still dream to one day open an animal hospital and/or rescue under the name Noa’s Arc.

Losing my home, and job, going through a break up within a year timeframe led me into a deep depression. Continuously going through ups and downs, I started to feel discouraged like I was getting big pow pows on the booty from the universe!

I’ve had to be broken down to everything I thought I knew about myself and thought I wanted in life, stripped of relationships and material things in order to find my truth.

I grew up in a religious background therefore, my path went totally against everything I was taught. I’ve always been drawn to astrology, psychics, and divination… Those interests were suppressed for a very long time due to fear and guilt. It took me a while to truly accept and welcome in who I was called to be.

My downs have definitely been a major catalyst for great change within myself and showing me my inner strengths. Needless to say, the trials and tribulations helped me to manifest my life purpose.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Walu Child Readings story. Tell us more about the business.
Walu Child Readings is a small spiritual consulting business birthed in 2014. I specialize in divination such as the tarot. Being that tarot was once a taboo, I believe I came right on time during the popularity of the new age culture.

Although I don’t Identify with such labels, it definitely made my entry into the world of social media much more welcoming… I’m known for my non-sugar coated, no bs readings, my innovative style and unique catalog of readings that I create. I’d like to think of myself as the Cupid of tarot since my love readings are highest in demand…

Fashion magazines and tarot websites inspired me to create a monthly beauty scope for all zodiac signs on my channel, for fashion and self-love advice called Walu’s Baddie Tarotscope! From there, I was also inspired to create my own deck of oracle cards dedicated to my spiritual fashionistas, called Walu’s Baddie Oracle.

Baddie is a word I use to describe an extraordinary being who reigns in confidence and strength while turning heads with their magical aura and outer beauty. I would love to one day see my Baddie Tarotscopes featured monthly in a magazine.

One of the best parts of my journey is that it is still unfolding, also connecting with like minded people whom are seeking to find themselves through their personal lives journey. Never did I imagine I would reach thousands of people all across the globe from India, China, Africa, Australia, etc!! All different genders, cultures, ages, etc.It amazes me every time to hear stories of how I’ve made a positive impact on their personal journeys by simply just doing me. Priceless!
