Meet Chandler Willoughby of chaunceydesigns

Today we’d like to introduce you to chandler Willoughby.

Chandler, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In 2014, (17 years old) I was about to graduate high school in a year, and I was anxious about starting life. I began creating because of idol hands I guess, but I knew that’s just what felt right. I turned painting, my first love into a business pretty quick because I didn’t want anything else.

Now, about five years later, everything I thought possible really was. With my work (after two years of painting) I started doing only custom orders. I began proving people with HUGE art at very attractive prices/service. I build every frame my self, canvas it, the whole process. I’ve been able to sell now a total of about 1,200 pieces (all big work).

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Very relentless hard work but extremely rewarding and amazing when I stop and think about it. Definitely not a smooth road but I wouldn’t change anything. all the rough bumps were lessons to help me keep going up.

My business is My nic name (artist name) “Chauncey” designs. My business provides homeowners to fill their entire home with custom gallery quality work. All the exact size, color, style the client and I discuss beforehand. Offices, condos, homes, can easily turn their place into a gallery for a cost very attractive and hard to find.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
New ventures such as executing a career in entertainment. (writing, directing movies) Also, I do a lot of music, design clothes, and really want to make it in the writing and directing business.
