Meet Celeste Chenoweth of Celestial Creations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Celeste Chenoweth.

Celeste, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
As a young child, I’ve always had an artistic side. When I was four years old, I cut all of my hair off by myself. In middle school, I would color all of my friend’s hair. I got my very first job as a receptionist at a hair salon, when I was 16, and my love for hair grew. I would watch all of the stylists work and pick up their tips and tricks. I enrolled in a beauty school, while also working full time, and I learned something new everyday.

Now, I am licensed to do something I truly love. I am always looking for ways to continue my education. Deep down I’ve always known this is what I was meant to do. I’ve always felt very passionate about showing my artsy side, and I feel like I can do that with every client that sits in my chair. I love making my clients feel beautiful!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I was enrolled at ASU for pre-med. After a year of doing so, I realized I just wasn’t going to be happy. I told my family that I wanted to pursue something I was totally invested in. So, I enrolled in cosmetology school. I worked full time in the mornings and went to school part time at nights. I was non-stop busy for 13-15 hours a day, five days a week.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Celestial Creations – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I love balayage, ombré, highlights, and vivid colors! Honestly, doing big transformations is my thing. I love making people feel beautiful and confident. I’m proud of myself for always putting in my best effort and giving every project my undivided attention. I think my personality and my techniques set me apart from others.

How would you describe the type of kid you were growing up?
Growing up I was always artistic. I took drawing, painting, and sculpture in high school. It was a good way for me to express my artsy side. I am very outgoing, ambitious, and honest. I’ve always set up reasonable goals for myself.
