Today, we’d like to introduce you to Catherine Helmoz. Catherine was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Lewa Owolabi.
Catherine , thank you so much for joining us today. We’d love for you to bring our readers up to speed – can you introduce yourself and share your story?
I was born in Belgium and moved to Atlanta Georgia in 1978 where I started designing a line of women’s wear. I was approached by Trammell Crow the real estate developer, they offered me to run a store in the galleria, designing
my own line under the label J’adore.
In 1990 I moved to New York city where I worked in the garment district, got involved in all aspects
of the fashion business, wholesale, designing, retail.
After my daughter was born I went into Real estate , my broker also hired me to stage all the properties
that needed improvement and that’s how my staging career started
I moved to Austin 18 years ago got my real estate license , practiced for 2 years but didn’t like the way real estate worked
in Austin, so I focused on what I enjoyed , staging and interior designing.
Creating and designing new spaces is my passion , it gives me a lot of satisfaction and love making people happy!

Please tell us more about your brand, Just in time Staging
I am an interior designer and home stager. I stage homes , design interiors for clients who just moved to Austin, or want tom revive their existing homes, I also furnish condos downtown Austin that are converted into furnished rentals. Coming from Europe I think I have several unique qualities and strengths that sets me apart from other designers. I offer clients a fresh, international perspective on design that they may not be able to find elsewhere. Sophisticated style:, being from a European background gives me a more sophisticated style that appeals to clients who are looking for a more elevated and refined design aesthetic. By working closely with clients and taking the time to understand their unique needs and preferences, I am able to offer a more personalized approach to design that sets m apart from designers who take a more one-size-fits-all approach. I am passionate about art, and find it extremely important and indispensable to include wall art in the projects, I am working with some local artists and commission them. I am most proud of the reputation I established after 20 years in the business and a business built on referrals.

Lewa Owolabi and Arise Homes LLC have been great to us and I know you’ve got a great relationship with them as well. Maybe you can tell our audience a bit about Lewa Owolabi and Arise Homes LLC and your experience with them.
Lewa called me a few years ago and asked me to stage one of her properties. It was a very small house, nicely renovated and sold very fast.
I have since staged all her properties. I find her remodeled homes very refreshing, trendy, and they inspire me a great
deal when it comes to finding the right furniture and mood that will enhance her spaces.
Lewa and her team pay a lot of attention to details, in the floorings, tiles, bathroom finishes, accent colors., wall paper…
There is a lot of thoughtfulness in the way the architect design the spaces, when you enter the house, it is flooded with natural light , I find that so important.
Lewa and Arise Homes are always consistent in the way they built or remodel homes, their quality of workmanship
is amazing, I can see a very bright future for them because they understand what the buyer needs.
