Meet Carolyn Fultz of Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolyn Fultz

Carolyn, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always been drawn to storytelling—first as a ballerina, where I shared emotions through movement, and now as a content creator, where I share the humor and heart of family life. After trading pointe shoes for mom life, I found myself embracing the creative outlet of social media while raising our boys.

What started as sharing fun, lighthearted moments turned into a passion for creating content that blends comedy, family dynamics, and a touch of aesthetic storytelling. My 6’6″ husband and I love leaning into our unique differences to create engaging videos that resonate with people and bring a little laughter to their feeds.

Now, I’ve turned this passion into a career, collaborating with brands I genuinely love while building a community of followers who connect with our stories.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
A challenge has been finding my place in a space that’s often about picture-perfect aesthetics. My style is more storytelling and personality-driven, which doesn’t always fit the perfect aesthetic mold. But that’s also been a strength—it’s allowed me to carve out my own niche and connect with people who enjoy the quirks and humor I bring to the table.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I create social media content that’s equal parts storytelling and humor, often centered on my family life and marriage. My husband and I have become a bit of a comedic duo, leaning into our quirks and differences to connect with people in a fun, relatable way.

What I’m most proud of is how my work feels genuine—it’s not about perfection but about creating moments that resonate or make someone laugh. What sets me apart? I focus on personality over extremely polished aesthetics, delivering content that’s memorable because it’s real, entertaining, and a little unexpected.

What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The world of social media is always shifting. I think that micro-influencers with tight-knit audiences will thrive because their followers trust them like a good friend. It’s less about the follower count and more about the connection.

At the same time, creators are becoming the storytellers behind shopping. I predict that social platforms will build out more and more shopping tools and therefore, creators will become even more integral to the shopping experience. Social platforms are turning into virtual storefronts. It’s about making people feel something—sharing a product in a way that feels authentic and personal, like you’re letting them in on your best-kept secret.
