Meet Carolyn Berry of Clean Colonic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Carolyn Berry.

Carolyn Berry never thought she would own a Colon Hydrotherapy clinic or be a colon hydrotherapist herself as it wasn’t a part of her plan. She had a background in massage as she always wanted to help people. She entered the corporate world managing and training staff for a large fitness company and when she left that job, Carolyn laid out the direction of her life. She became a published author of the book “I’m Happy. How did I get there?” She then wrote a self-help program to take people from chaos to happiness, understanding that everyone’s “happy” is different. Her passion is to help people uncover what their “Happy” is and how to get there. However, she’d been battling endometriosis, fibroids, cysts, andadenomyosis for 20 years, nearly causing her to get a hysterectomy advised from her Dr because they didn’t know what else to do for her. This left her feeling frustrated and hopeless because she was bloated, uncomfortable, swelling and her cycle was getting worse and worse. Instead, she decided to try a series of colonics also known as colon hydrotherapy. Not only did that choice change her life and save her from unnecessary surgery, it revealed the value of our connection to our bodies. Carolyn did not know that you could hold anywhere from 5-25lbs or more of fecal material in the colon. Through colonics, Carolyn experienced a new form of healing and she successfully created 3 clinics in Arizona in Phoenix, Tempe and Fountain Hills. Carolyn’s goal is to educate clients on the importance of a colonic, all while maintaining the integrity of the industry with a clean and sanitary facility. Colon hydrotherapy is recommended from several naturopathic medical doctors as beneficial to overall wellness as well as Medical facilities treating various issues. Carolyn’s clients experienced many benefits aside from women’s health, including weight loss, increased energy, relief from constipation, and overall improved gut health. Has it been a smooth road?
When Carolyn transitioned from her coaching and classes, she thought it would be hard to build the business. She found that her foundation with working with people and building relationships is what helped her start the business of colon hydrotherapy because the community had trusted her which made it a smooth road.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Carolyn’s plan is to have 5 or more locations in Arizona and then expanding to her home town in California and be a “sea” bird coming back and forth.
