Meet Camillia Weakly of House of Harmony in East Valley

Today we’d like to introduce you to Camillia Weakly.

Camillia, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Since I can remember, I have a heighten sense of awareness of other people pain. I’ve been massaging since I was 8 years old. My dad would pay me all the change in his pocket to give him back and feet massages. I grew up in Detroit, but it wasn’t until I move to Arizona that I turn my love of helping to into a career. I was inspired by Arizona’s spiritual holistic culture, the mountains, and the peace of the desert. I was first introduced to reiki energy healing and I was fascinated by the chakra system, and eastern holistic healing methods. I found a school that combine both western practice with Eastern holistic massage techniques. This is where my journey began.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
No has hasn’t been a smooth road. I had to overcome going through a divorce, and raising now 3 children. I spent long days away from my children to start my own business. My kids definitely seen all the sacrifices I had made. It also wasn’t easy learning the business side of things, taxes, marketing, business plans, and creating a website. I love all of the challenges because I have learned so much and have had incredible people in my life who has helped me along the way.

House of Harmony – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
House of Harmony represents a space where people can heal, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. I offer mobile massages services at this time but where ever I go I offer an experience a place of tranquility and peace.

We offer incredible one of a kind customized experience spa parties for ladies’ nights, or couples’ event, and even workshops. Our workshops offer infant massage or couple massages, where my clients can learn how stress management techniques, easy effective and gentle massage to help their infant sleep or get comfort. I also offer mobile couples spa packages, which we offer, hot stones, cupping, reflexology, CBD and aromatherapy options. Our packages come with optional personal chef, DJ, and photographer.

I also offer, group or one on one, meditation, stress management, stretch therapy sessions, And tarot cards readings.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success by the freedom of doing what you truly love, and doing it the way that brings you the most joy and gratification.
