Meet Cambria Dickerson of Caravan of Luv

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cambria Dickerson. 

Hi Cambria, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my spiritual business, Caravan of Luv, in September of 2019 while I was still living in Birmingham, Alabama. What was initially meant to be a spiritual seeking journey for myself with tarot cards quickly turned into a soul tribe that I truly LUV! Coming from a background in Public Relations, I thought the pivot from my first small business would be difficult but I have found a balance that allows for both. Tarot reading is a natural spiritual gift of mine that was a hobby turned into a source of income. I’d always loved giving advice to others and tarot is a way to help by reading the imagery and energy presented by the cards. I would practice for free on my friends and world be quite surprised from their reactions to the accuracy of cards pulled. I just enjoyed being able to use my intuition to provide insight and eventually began to offer readings as a service. 

I moved to California this year in February to pursue my passion for tarot full-time as a spiritual entrepreneur and have had many doors of opportunity open to me since then. I have even been featured on a tarot reading app called Teller Live which allowed me to reach thousands of people across the US! Since then, I’ve relocated to Tempe, AZ to attend the Southwestern Institute of Healing Arts where I study Western Herbalism. I am currently building my community here in the beautiful city and have also begun hosting magical workshops teaching manifestation and healing with tarot & herbs. 

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all. It has definitely been a journey. I learned a lot of tough lessons in California that pushed me into really believing in myself, no matter what the outer circumstances may look like. I also realized that everything truly does starts with me and the way that I think. I had to affirm myself into knowing that the vision I saw for myself as a spiritual entrepreneur could really become my reality, not just hope for it. I had to truly believe in it was possible, and once I did, things start happening for me. 

Another constant struggle I’ve had is finding a niché for myself or a way to create a lane where both of my passions, the first being public relations, can happily co-exist. I used to feel as though I had to choose one over, spirituality or the corporate world, which had created a bit of imbalance of time and energy given to my work on both ends of the stick. I now understand that I’m able to do all the things that I am passionate about! 

We’ve been impressed with Caravan of Luv, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Caravan of Luv is a spirituality-based business that offers tarot readings for guidance and advice. I have been able to gift family and friends with insight in regards to their life’s journey to guide them with messages that have helped them find their own light. I also provide an herbal candle service for the manifestation of abundance! I plan to offer more candles to manifest love, confidence, creativity, etc. very soon. I’ve ventured off into hosting events that teach others the healing that can be found in tarot accompanied with the magic that can be made with common herbs most may have in their pantry! It’s all about providing a holistic healing experience that reminds you of your power and pushes you to take action to bring forth the change you want to see. 

What sets me apart is that I like to tie in the use of herbs in my magic. It’s something that gives me the ability to create a different experience for every client that I come into contact with. Every client won’t have the same issues but I can tailor a candle to help manifest healing according to their reading. I love assisting others to be their best selves, whether in their career or in their personal lives, and I’m blessed to be able to be of service. 

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
When it comes to networking or finding a mentor, you just have to put yourself out there! Go to events, visit places that fit your vibe and introduce yourself to make connections, even using social media to find who’s who. Just don’t be afraid to reach out and ask for the help that you need. What has helped me was just that, researching for who to contact then just sending out an email or call, without a doubt that I’d receive support.
