Meet Bryce Burchi and Christopher Moradi of ADVNTRSHOP in Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bryce Burchi and Christopher Moradi.

Bryce and Christopher, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Our goal is to better the prosthetic limb community while supplying a high quality article of clothing.  We want to help those that may have trouble adventuring or who would like to adventure. We are very much in the beginning stages, we plan to do everything in our power to make great clothes for all types of adventures while helping those who would like to adventure. K2 is a local charity we will be donating to. We want to find experiments across the nation that embody our vision of helping those who want to adventure. Being familiar with nature in Arizona has led us on this journey. With this state having so much to offer we want to find a common ground between all who crave adventure.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not. The beginning stages of a business are difficult. As far as starting the company there has been a lot of downs compared to ups. So far, we have been able to create a website, use a local embroidery, and grow our followers organically through engagement and giveaways. In the end, the ultimate goal for all for-profit businesses is to increase the bottom line. Going through this is teaching us to find the optimal price point for each article of clothing we offer. Also, we have to consider what gear the market may most need going forward.  It should be noted that starting a business is no easy task. Simply put, what you reap is what you sow. In the end, we want to make a difference in the prosthetic limb community. Ensuring their success or at least making a difference is what will help us sleep at night.

Tell us about your company. What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of as a company? What sets you apart from others?
As of now, we aren’t known for much. Our goal is to be known for fueling prosthetic leg research and acquisition for those in need who can’t afford a new limb. We also want to be known for making a unique wearable t-shirt, hoodie, long sleeve, or hat. Eventually, we want to expand to all sorts of gadgets and textiles for those who want to adventure but as of now selling the four items mentioned above.

We are in a position to inspire others to push their limits and do things they can’t, which is something we live for. What sets us apart is defined in our mission statement which is: Our goal is to build a community where adventure enthusiasts can connect, explore and learn from each other while wearing gear that’s unique, comfortable and affordable.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment in our career so far is being able to help my best friend who lost his leg in a car accident, this has inspired us to create this company. His story has touched us and will reach so many people who are down and uninspired. The story will change the way most people who have a prosthetic limb see the world, and that’s special.
