Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Walker.

Brooke, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
In January of 2016, I was working on my goals for the upcoming year and was devastated by how far I was from the things I truly wanted in my life. Financially, I had no savings, no retirement and was living paycheck to paycheck. I had no growth potential in my career and was in a bad relationship. That was the moment, I decided more than a few things needed to change. Within the next six months, I changed careers and got myself on a completely different path.

I believe it’s the difficult moments that help us to get back to where we thrive. That moment catapulted me into a career where I now help others to reach financial independence. At World Financial Group, dreams matter to us. We understand the financial challenges that make it harder to achieve your goals and we’re ready to provide the assistance you need. We believe your financial success, no matter your current situation or economic status, is achievable. We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The biggest challenges I have faced would be my own attitude. When changing the course of your life we often have to let go of old beliefs and I had a difficult time changing bad habits and negative thought patterns. I would not have let friends speak to me the way I spoke to myself and I had to learn to embrace gratitude and celebrate my accomplishments.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I am a financial professional who is licensed in insurance and securities. I help families to be more educated so they can be empowered to make better financial decisions that will help them and their families thrive. I offer phenomenal customer service and a holistic view of their goals and strategies to achieve them. I’m proud that my clients get peace of mind and can rest easier. My attention to detail and care for people is above and beyond what you will get from any other professional.

What were you like growing up?
I was shy growing up. I always loved burying myself in anything I tried. I loved to learn and mastered anything I set my mind to. I really didn’t get out of my shell until the last 5 years. There is a certain point in your life where you learn to love who you really are and become what I like to call.

When you’re truly at peace and in touch with yourself. Nothing anyone says or does bothers you and no negativity can touch you.
