Meet Brittney “Möscöné” Allen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brittney “Möscöné” Allen.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Brittney “Möscöné”. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
From being a patron to djing & event coordinating, this is how it happened.

At the beginning of my DJ career, I grew interested in the Trapxart organization. Knowing this was the hottest Art Show & Party in the San Francisco Bay Area, I wanted in! Back in 2016, I sent off my first email asking for a chance to spin at one of their events which got my feet wet. It wasn’t until January of 2017 until my chance was granted. How did this happen? Through a mutual friend, I was able to DJ at Dash Radio in Hollywood during the time Trapxart launched its first travel date which too was in Hollywood. During my Dash Radio appearance, I brushed shoulders with the CEO’s of Trapxart (Amina & Jesse Brooks) and presented them a face with a name from the 2016 email. They too were featured on Dash Radio where they shared their Trapxart story & how things unfolded for them.

By the time February 2017 hit, I was presented a 15-minute window to showcase my DJ skills during Trapxart’s first fashion show. Not long after, the opportunities stacked and residency was granted. When it comes to every traveling Art Show & Party, I am their go-to option. Whether we’re in New York, Houston, Dallas, Detroit, Toronto, etc., 9.5 times out of 10, you’ll catch me spinning.

Based upon reliability, trustworthiness, perseverance, character, & more, the CEO’s decided to give me the green light to join their team in event coordination. My very first event under the coordinating umbrella took place May 17, 2018, in Chicago, IL. Since then, I have added Phoenix, Seattle. Portland, & San Diego to my repertoire. The many faces I wear presents a great challenge I promised myself not to back down to. Limitless opportunities are a beautiful thing & this here is something I wouldn’t trade! #TrapOn

Has it been a smooth road?
With change and risk, nothing will be easy. Since the beginning of my career, I always dreamed of being a traveling DJ, & it happened, but it’s not easy. TSA, Ubers, traffic, hotel check-ins can all create a great deal of anxiety. With that being said, these are some of the many challenges I face. Getting to an event can be tough but once I am there in the spot things tend to pan out well.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Trapxart story. Tell us more about it.
I am an international DJ who specializes in Hip-Hop/R&B music. I am known for my lack of fear, hustle, charming personality, professionalism high energy, & fashion.
