Meet Bridget Richmond of Opal Raw Beauty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bridget Richmond.

Hi Bridget, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always been drawn to natural health. As a child, I loved playing with my grandmother’s oils and herbal products, and later, after struggling with acne, I felt called toward facials and skin healing. A friend worked at an Aveda salon, and the moment I stepped into the spa, I knew esthetics was where I belonged.

Over time, my work has evolved into a more holistic and intuitive approach. What began as traditional skincare has grown into a blend of beauty, energy, and embodiment. I’m passionate about supporting the skin through the whole person — mind, body, nervous system, and spirit.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life as an entrepreneur constantly pushes you to grow. It’s not always a smooth road, and it often requires honest self-reflection. But through the challenges and breakthroughs, I learn more about myself and the kind of work I am designed for.

As you know, we’re big fans of Opal Raw Beauty. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
At Opal Raw Beauty, I offer customized organic facials, microneedling, body waxing, lash lifts, brow lamination, lash and brow tinting, Reiki, and womb steaming. My approach is holistic, blending skin health with the deeper layers of lifestyle, hormones, nutrition, stress, and emotional wellbeing. I truly believe our skin reflects our inner world, and getting to the root creates lasting transformation on both the face and the soul.

My most-loved services are brow wax and tint, lash lifts, and my signature facials. And because I’m endlessly fascinated by astrology and Human Design, don’t be surprised if your chart naturally weaves into our conversation. I’m currently studying to become a Human Design reader so I can bring even more energetic insight into the treatment room.

Opal Raw Beauty continues to evolve right alongside me, and I’m proud of the way this work keeps growing, deepening, and expanding.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories was being part of a little friend tribe we called the Oochies. We each had our own name — Scootchie, Bootchie, Hootchie, Pootchie, and Gootchie — and we’d host “Oochie parties,” make up dances, play golf and tennis, pull harmless pranks, and be our wild selves together.

When we turned 18, we all got five stars tattooed on our ankles to honor each other. We’ve all grown into our own lives, like shooting stars heading in different directions, but those memories — and that bond — have never faded.
