Meet Brian Wright

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Wright.

Brian, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My background was in teaching, initially, I taught Public Speaking, English Composition, and Business Math at a two-year business college in Nebraska for almost five years. I was also writing resumes for people professionally during this time. In 1996, I moved to Arizona and spent some time in the call center world. I spent time on the phones, did supervisory work, was in charge of payroll at one company, and was a trainer in a couple of others.

Eventually, I started my business part-time while I was working for others and built it to a full-time career.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Not at all. I discovered that while employers were initially supportive of my business venture, they REALLY meant as long as it didn’t take away from working for them. At one particular place, I was asked to work more hours, and I continually said no. Eventually, that led to me getting kicked out of the nest. Things don’t always happen the way we like, nor do they happen when we want it to, but I believe God’s timing is always perfect.

Please tell us about your business.
I do media and publishing for the personal development and business industries. I do a weekly radio show called Success Profiles Radio, which I have been doing since January 2012. Previous guests have included Kevin Harrington, Darren Hardy, Jack Canfield, Sharon Lechter, Loral Langemeier, Dan Lok, Chris Powell, former UFC champion Rich Franklin, Bill Walsh, Marshall Syler, and many more.

I’ve also been doing a monthly online publication called Success Profiles Magazine. I feature some of the best guests from the radio show and invite contributions for experts in various industries.

In addition, I also ghostwrite books for clients and create special editions of the magazine for people who want to be in the front cover of a magazine and be branded even further.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I would have believed in myself sooner, We all have special gifts to share with the world, and the sooner we understand that and operate in our zone of genius, the happier we are and the better off the world will be.
