Meet Brian and Rebecca Davila of Grass Juice Co. in Peoria/Gilbert

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian and Rebecca Davila.

Brian and Rebecca, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
We are husband and wife that have always been believers of the cannabis plant and the benefits it offers. Nutrition-wise, we wanted to create a healthy product that is beneficial to people and overall wellness.

We had just had our son in the summer of 2018, and shortly after returning back to work, Brian was laid off from his job working with the State. This drove us to create something for ourselves because we realized we can only rely on ourselves to support our family and values. So, we then founded Grass Juice Co.

What started out as a simple idea, and not much direction, we began delivering our juices as orders came in. Shortly after, we were then contacted by a local Farmers Market inviting us to be a part of their community. Since then, we became a farmers market-based business and you can now find us at multiple farmers markets around the Valley throughout the week!

Has it been a smooth road?
It has definitely been a bumpy road! From the get-go, we invested our savings into our business, which was a risky and scary thing to do especially as a new family. At the time, we could only hope that it would work out. As business owners, we now see that there are ups and downs that we will always have to face. Especially when working with something like CBD.

When we first began our CBD infused cold-pressed juice company, the laws regarding hemp and its derivatives were still up in the air. Once the federal 2018 Farm Bill passed, it gave us the peace of mind we needed in order to continue our efforts in creating our wellness product.

Another obstacles we have encountered are regulations and policies that restrict vending of CBD infused products at some venues.

The main obstacle we continue to have is the stigma around CBD, and also the lack of knowledge regarding the health benefits of cold-pressed juice. Our main job and priority is to educate our community on the importance of a healthy diet and the health benefits of incorporating CBD as a daily supplement.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Grass Juice Co. – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a Hemp CBD infused cold-pressed juice company that is handcrafted locally in Phoenix, Arizona. We spend much of our time promoting health and wellness to our community along with cannabis education.

We are proud to bring awareness to health, wellness and cannabis as a whole. Which is what also sets us apart from others, here at Grass Juice Co. we are doing good for YOUR health and OUR community one juice at a time.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What we love most about our city is the diversity and community! You can really see the emergence of keeping things local and the small-business based mentality. Phoenix is the perfect combination of small-town and big city! We get the best of both worlds here in The Valley!

Now, that fall weather is approaching, you see so many activities and events pop up which helps creates new family memories with our son.

What we like least about our city is the heat. The summer season really inhibits a lot of activities we get to do, personal and business-wise. But thankfully, the heat lingers for just a couple of months, and the rest of the year it is great!
