Meet Brian Myers of Low Budget Movers in Central

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Myers.

Brian, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started Low Budget Movers is January of 2012, after working for another moving company in the valley. I saw the potential of owning a moving company and thought that I could make a few changes and offer a better service to our clients with a similar payment structure.

We started with just one old moving truck, and we worked seven days a week for the first three years before we were able to obtain new equipment. Today we have two Warehouse locations offing a wide variety of storage options, 15 moving trucks that we operate daily both locally and long distance and have 36 employees that are as dedicated to this business and the quality we provide.

We still operate seven days a week and offer the same great service and quality at an affordable price as we did when we first started. Both myself and the other managers in the office are always available to the customer for questions, concerns and the occasional complaint in which we take very seriously. We look forward to continuing to grow and offer our customers even more options to make their moving experience as easy as possible.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not always been a smooth road of growth over the last seven years. The biggest struggle was having to turn work away because of lack of equipment and men. I have work daily to secure the necessary trucks and equipment to provide what our demand requires. Though we are in a much better spot now, we still suffer from lack of equipment for time to time and have to turn away work due to our very busy schedule.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Low Budget Movers – what should we know?
We are a full-service moving and storage company that offers both local and long distance full-service moves. We pride ourselves in offering a quality moving experience to our clients without the hassle of added fees and stressful and hard to read contracts.

We offer a straight forward approach to our price model and explain the moving process in detail to our potential customers long before they schedule a move. We also train our movers to do things the same as we have always done. The way that has allowed us to continue to grow over the last seven years. We do our best to instill our sense of quality and workmanship that our clients appreciate and pay for.

What are your plans for the future?
We will be adding a new location in Tucson soon. This will expand our reach to allow us to service the entire state of Arizona as a locally owned company.

  • 2 Man Crew 1 truck ($99 per hour with 2 hour Min) (Trip fee may apply depending on location)
  • 3 Man crew 1 Truck ($139 per hour with 3 Hour Min) (Trip Fee May Apply)
  • 4 Man Crew 2 trucks ($179 Per Hour with $ Hour Min) (Trip Fee May Apply)
