Meet Brandon Hayward of Steadfast Mechanical

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Hayward.

Hi Brandon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My story , well it’s a long one but I’m gonna do my best to condense it . I got outta high school and went right in the military. I served on board the USS Abraham Lincoln in support of operation Iraqi freedom and operation enduring freedom as well as humanitarian efforts in Banda ache Indonesia.

While in the military I learned HVAC and decided to take the trade home with me back to Arizona ,

I struggled. I divorced , I drank a lot, I struggled some more , became depressed, divorced again . Things were not good after life in the military but I keep working and kept grinding

Eventually things got a little better and I was able to start doing the work on myself. I worked for all the major HVAC companies in the valley over the last 20 years but 4 years ago I decided to stop making other people rich and went into business for myself . This year we started a charity called PAW 1st (putting americas warriors 1st ) where we are giving service dogs to veterans . We are doing our first give away on Memorial Day at the American legion post 138 .

I have gone from a struggling veteran to a business owner, a grandfather, a member of a local motorcycle club, a youth soccer coach and am proudly 7 months sober from alcohol with no looking back.

This charity is my way to help others like me. Who fight everyday for men’s mental health. Veteran mental health and saving dogs and humans. . It’s the least I can do for a community who has always had my back. My business is new but we are growing.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
No . Multiple divorces, duis, drinking, depression, motor cycle accidents.

Around the time I turned 32 ( I am 40 now ) I started slowly taking my life back. And now about to be 41 in July . I’m 7 months sober living the best life I could imagine. A father, a grandfather, a successful business owner.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
We are a local HVAC contractor,

We specialize in residential and commercial hvac work of all kinds including new builds and retrofit.

What separates us from the literally 1 million other hvac companies in AZ we are a medium size operation in wich I the owner am very hands on. Our response time is second to none and it’s the reason we are growing at an exponential rate. I pride myself in customer service and my work speaks for itself. My guys are all hvac certified and have the same values as me.

I would like readers to know that in hvac there are choices and I pride myself from saving people from the clutches of “big hvac” my social media will show you that haha
