The Blue Daisy, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
In a bright and lofty setting just west of Phoenix sits The Blue Daisy, an Aveda Concept Salon. Situated in Verrado’s lush Main Street District, the salon is a haven for all things hair, skin, waxing, lashes, and nails.

Founded in 2014, The Blue Daisy has 14 stylists and service providers specializing in a wide range of services including but not limited to: Precision Cuts, Color, Highlights, Balayage, Brazilian Blowout Treatments, Hair Extensions, Aveda and Image Skincare Facials, as well as Massage, Lashes, Waxing, and Nails.

Master stylist and salon coordinator Marisa Torres, social media and operations manager Katherine Meadows and Owner Craig Guincho helm the team of seasoned and apprentice talent. To Master Stylist and Aveda color specialist and educator, Naomi Dove, “The Aveda it Girl,” education and development is key. Both Marisa and Naomi lead the cut and color workshops taught at the salon as a resource for the stylists to hone their craft and graduate to either senior or master stylists. The Blue Daisy is dedicated to providing the ultimate in artistry in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Has it been a smooth road?
We have grown steadily within the business culturally and in terms of skill amongst the many talents who call the salon home. Creating an environment where we all are on the same page is of utmost importance to the team. Carving out days for workshops and continuing education for the stylists while servicing the booming west valley can be a challenge. Our days are only getting busier with the influx of new faces moving into the neighborhood.
