Blanca Mondragon is an Event planner and Master Floral Designer certified by the AZ. State Florist Association. Her creativity and passion for flowers are reflected in every aspect of her designs. Her journey as a florist began with the opening of her first shop in 2006. Blanca and her team have worked and learned from renowned designers and event planners such as David Tutera and more recently Preston Bailey. Her desire to continue to stay up to date with current trends and her ability to bring to life any vision the client has in mind makes her stand out as a premier event planner.
To this day, she continues to strive to provide our customers with friendly, knowledgeable service and is the proud winner of ASFA 2012 and 2015 2nd place Designer of the Year, and 3rd place at Phoenix Art Museum League 2015 for most creative floral design. Amazing Flowers has also received the 2019 Best of the Valley award under Best Florists category.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The main obstacle she has faced has been discovering who her customer is by not having in place the proper business model from the shop’s inception.

Amazing Flowers is focused on custom designs for all occasions. Our website reflects our attitude and energy as our designs are chic, modern and artistic. Our priority is weddings. We strive to satisfy all our future brides and their families. We offer full-service floral design and coordination for weddings.
We are proud of our unrivaled customer service and attention to detail. We go the extra mile not sometimes but always. We help our customers to express their feelings through the power of flowers. “Amazing” is not just our name it is our mantra.

Her main support has been her husband who is also a small business owner. He has been the support at home and elsewhere while she has grown.
The non-profit organization Hustle Phoenix has also been very helpful during this time of growth. Hustle Phoenix helps entrepreneurs with small businesses grow by reinforcing the basics of small business ownership and advanced strategies to take the business to the next level.
