Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Drevyanko.
Bill, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My business background is diverse, to say the least. I started my business career as a night club and radio DJ back in the late 70’s. Then I transitioned into the health club business where I enjoyed several years in that industry. In the early 90’s I tried my hand at the corporate world and while I had success, I didn’t enjoy working for someone else let alone a big corporation. So I started a business consulting company where I did sales training, executive coaching, customer service training and motivational and inspirational speaking. All along the way, I stayed active in real estate investing which I enjoyed very much. In 2006 I became a Realtor.
Has it been a smooth road?
Growing the business was fun, exciting and challenging. I became a Realtor two years before the market crash of 2008 so there were some tough times to overcome. When the market was turned upside down, I had to reinvent myself and my business to stay alive and relevant in an ever changing marketplace. Quitting was not an option. I found that during those tough years in the real estate business, there were great opportunities to find fantastic investments and make a lot of money.
We’d love to hear more about your business.
In the early 80’s while in the health club business, I started investing in real estate with several friends. After having success, other people were referred to me and I started including them in our investment opportunities. In 2006 I became a licensed Realtor and started aggressively working with investors to help them find great deals on investment properties. Fix & Flips, buy and holds or construction project management are all parts of my business.
I work in all areas of real estate investing. Single family, multi-family, commercial properties, raw land and real estate development. In 2008 I started coaching and mentoring people in all aspects of real estate investing. Teaching is a passion. Giving back to people and organizations is a reward and honor.
Our development division helps companies and business professionals find and lease properties or office space but we really like to show those clients how to own the real estate that they run their businesses out of. We can “build to suit” new space for clients or we can buy and rehab an older space and provide lease purchase options so clients can own their properties. VIP Investor Network is committed to providing the best real estate services to our clients while providing open and honest transparency.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Absolutely! The Phoenix area is a good place to start as an investor. While it is a very competitive market, if you work with the right people and find the right properties, you can make a great living as a real estate investor. But, I highly recommend that you hire a coach to help get started.
