Meet Bethany MacLean of Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bethany MacLean

Hi Bethany, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It’s hard to say exactly when it all started but I can remember as far back as high school reading horoscopes in the newspaper. I would read them at work. During this time I worked at subway in jewel lake and went to high school down the street at dimond high.
I remember feeling guilty because it was ingrained in me growing up that it was considered a bad thing/ evil. I grew up Christian and indoctrinated to be scared of things that didn’t fit into that box. I have always had a curious mind and one that would notice patterns or weird things that most can’t even fathom. I would see the patterns with the horoscope and energy of that time. I pay attention to every detail so by the time I was 18 had been shown so so many signs and patterns to make it impossible to be a by chance/coincidence etc. I have always had this deep connection with things that are considered supernatural or spiritual. I had my first premonition when I was 17 and since then I have practiced and developed over time a very deep connection with the universe or whatever you would like to call it. I have remote viewed, had many premonitions, communicated with the dead (not in a creepy way) witnessed supernatural phenomenon and more.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I have experienced trials and tribulations. I have learned a lot and continue to learn everyday. My clients are some of my biggest teachers. I learn so much from them. I feel truly blessed to be a part is their healing journey and I consider it a sacred honor.
What really opened the door for me was massage school. When I turned 25 I moved to a state where I knew only 1 person, had no car and less then 500 bucks on me. I went to full time massage school and that opened a totally new and amazing world for me. I would not be here if it was not for massage school. From there hypnosis and so much more. I am able to integrate all of my services to help the entire body. In other words holistic healing is what I offer. That’s my service at its core. Plato said it best when he said “The cure for many diseas is unknown to physicians because they are ignorant of the whole part, for the part can never be well unless the whole is well.”
What he’s saying here is that the body when ill, whether it be mental, emotional, physical can not be healed completely until all levels are healed because the body, mind and spirit are all connected.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
As a holistic practitioner/psychic/massage/hypnotherapist etc I look at all aspects and work on helping the individual heal them. I do not heal. They are the healer. I only give insight, tools, support and knowledge.

Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up I was very shy, introverted and quiet. I spent most of my time in nature or with animals. I often did crafts with my mom and even would shoot 22 /bebe guns. We would hunt Ptarmigan and sleep under the stars. As I got older I would slowly become more and more social although I’m naturally a introvert I have gotten out of my shell. When I was 24/25 I went to massage school, then trained in hypnosis, craniosacral, cupping therapy and more. During these days I would practice with my tarot / oracle cards. It has always been fun for me. I used to just read for myself or my friends as a hobby but also as a personal guide /insight.
