Meet Barb Heite of Amor De Soi… Love Your Soul in North Phoenix

Today we’d like to introduce you to Barb Heite.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Barb. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
To answer that question, it is probably best that I share with you a defining moment, and a resulting “compelling story”, that brought me where I am today- coaching people like you on exactly what to do to heal from within so you can shine out and create a life you love.

I have had several defining moments in my life, one was to leave my 26-year co-dependent, verbally abusive marriage. I had an exist plan, I was prepared, I just had to be patient a bit more. Before I could state my intention to divorce my husband my defining moment that stopped me in my tracks happened in January 2013. I got diagnosed with stage three Thyroid Cancer. My first internal scream in the seconds of hearing that was, “OH HELL NO!!! I did not come this far and finally muster enough courage to finally decide to leave my marriage and go create my life of passion to die and not live my purpose and not shine!” Letting my new reality sink in and the anger subside a bit, my response from deep within me was, “You can do this… it won’t be easy but you can THRIVE in your healing and have it all.”

For years I recognized this deep inward calling pulling at me, ever raising closer to the surface of me, wanting to burst forth into my world. The trouble was that I believed that it was not my turn to shine I became an indifferent, dispirited, people-pleasing machine. I disguised my anger through my warped misunderstanding of what love is. That love was conditional and had to be earned. This acceptance of that belief of love was my catalyst into a slow decent into my own personal hell. I could justify, manipulate, and hide from my pain and push away the feelings of not being good enough, not wanted, or not mattering. I felt isolated, afraid, and alone and always feeling I never would “get it right”. My internal question to myself was always, “What is wrong with me?” This question drove me to find the answer of me to try and fix me through self-help programs, reading books, doing extensive therapy and asking others the same question, all with different answers. I only became more confused and miserable…I now had evidence and validation that I was not living to my potential… I proved to myself I was not enough…which meant to me not wanted and not mattering…. UGH!!!!! It was exhausting!!! This pattern overtime twisted the TRUTH of who I am in my head and I became confused, then I became resigned, and then I became numb…. dying from the inside out. Eventually it made sick…really, really sick.

The week that I got diagnosed with cancer my husband asked me to see Life Coach to work on our marriage, I agreed. I went because I did not want to fight and I knew I was not going there to save my marriage but to save myself. My Life Coach asked me to email her journals of my feelings daily to her. Being a Doer, I was all-in with a task to focus on besides the cancer. For six months I poured my heart out to my Life Coach. She encouraged me to share my journals with others but I was too afraid of being judged. She one day stated that by sharing my journal I could help others to get in touch with their feelings. And from that conversation, I gained enough courage to share first in a support group then eventually in my book, Beautiful Mess- A Journey to the Universe Within.

As I cleaned up my inner world, took accountability for my own beautiful mess, I began to become curious about me again which sparked my creativity and my caring and compassion for myself and others. I completed my Master Degree in Human Dynamics, became a facilitator of a weekly women’s support group & a life coach. I became courageous and started sharing with other women my story and encouraged them to do the same. I finally “got it” …. I got CLARITY, and then I defined my PURPOSE, which revealed my PASSION where I now live and THRIVE in my life.

I live my dream of sharing my passion of my heart impacting others, inspiring growth and transformation in others with my story through coaching with groups and one-on-one, workshops, and seminars. I have made the commitment to dedicate the rest of my professional life to helping other women to own the truth of who they are, have more confidence, passion and peace in their life to create the life they have always dreamed of without the limiting beliefs that holds them back from living from a purposeful passionate life.

I have created a system that will give you CLARITY, define your PURPOSE, and spark your PASSION in 10 important foundational steps to embrace the whole of YOU, the shadow and the light, in order to SHINE forward to begin living the life you always imagined. To live totally happy and free in your passion and purpose. It is always a choice; life does not happen to you-rather you choose life.

In addition, I’m launching an online community that supports holistic healers and professionals called Synergy Village. The web page will have 10 different portals to connect with people who have a passion in their modality of healing. Synergy Village will include:

Also, on the near horizon, in addition to my one-on-one 5 week or 10 week coaching packages I will be launching a 49 lesson self-paced click grow learn program for those who are not sure about coaching but want to focus on expanding self-awareness.

Also for the Phoenix community I hold a weekly healing group located on my meetup that is absolutely free, I also host events like Kindness Rocks (paint rocks & took to Peace Park and put on walking trails) Connect-Chill-Color Event- and support other holistic events that are free to the community- like our beginning ukulele class hosted by one of the facilitators I support in the community

And for those who cannot be in Phoenix in person I have started a YouTube Video blog/ podcast that covers the many subjects that come up in the healing groups, The Show is called just Blah… Stand Up…Speak Out….Let’s Talk About It- my co-host is my triplet sister Faye and it is fun and very informative!

This platform is for individuals to get coaching at the level they want to participate in. I also a Beta Group of people in my personal program called Coach the Coaches- this program is for people who want to become coaches. The program covers the actual understanding Human Dynamics of relationships, focus on teaching effective communication skills, then marketing and sales. If a person decides to complete the Master Integrative Coach the Coach Program they will be able to be featured as a Master Coach on Synergy where traffic will be driven to help the newly established coach to get exposure and experience with the support of experts. This also allows for the cost of starting up a bit more manageable and the coach does not feel alone in the building of his/her coaching career.
