Meet Aspire Unique

Today we’d like to introduce you to Aspire Unique.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
I wanted to give up. It’s like being misunderstood your entire life and after so many attempts of communicating verbally, I was drawn to express myself through music and digital art. I have this energy inside of me that craves to connect. Don’t we all? This is how my story starts. It started with a need to relate. It started when this passion kept calling my soul. My story starts where we meet. This is Aspire Unique.

Music is one of those things that bridged the gap. In some strange way, music has been a gift to unite people. It has the ability of bringing understanding towards one another. My passion grew and I decided to educate myself on how I could develop my message. So, I enrolled to MCC and received a CCL in music business. The more I learn, the further I dive into self-expression.

Digital art is a new form of expression I started doing only a few months ago. The interesting thing is that with new technology available, we’re able to share art more than ever. There are so many platforms to connect with eachother and I’m thankful for the opportunity provided by Voyage Phoenix. Thanks for taking the time to read my story and I look upward to yours.

Please tell us about your art.
The very definition of aspire is to direct one’s hopes or ambitions toward achieving something. Unlike anything else, we are all especially distinct and unique. The art I create is inspired by bringing the unknown to the surface. I make music and digital art independently from home using a desktop computer. While using various programs, I found my own way of creating an art form to express my hunger for potential. It’s always a work in progress.

My attempt is to produce a feel good, motivational hip hop with a message that is for an individual listening experience. The music I make has a one on one type of atmosphere. I also do abstract art more than often because everyone sees something different and that aspires uniqueness. My aspiration is to have people believe in their own creativity. The takeaway is we all have something to express. By exploring that we find ways to connect.

Given everything that is going on in the world today, do you think the role of artists has changed? How do local, national or international events and issues affect your art?
Art is a constant change. When I think of Art, I think of problem-solving. It’s arranging things and creating a sense of harmony. Artists have a high sense of perception and when certain events happen, they’re able to communicate through a medium that’s universal. With various patterns, beats, and forms of expression, the role of an artist lives in the place of right now and forever. We will always evolve into something new. Living is Art.

How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
The digital art I make is displayed on Instagram and my music can be found on YouTube. I also perform at local events throughout the Valley. I’m interested in collaborating and supporting local’s here in Arizona. At times it can be overwhelming with the amount of art being consumed daily, so it drives me to stay persistent with my creativity. I’ve learned the most by working with others.
