Meet Ashley Tranzow

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashley Tranzow.

Ashley, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my story with you!  I am an entrepreneur based out of Phoenix Arizona! I am a wife, dog mom, lover of the outdoors (and a good margarita)! I am an avid foodie, eating my way through Phoenix one bite (and photo) at a time. I am originally from a small town in California, right outside of Yosemite National Park. Being from a small town, I spent much of my time writing and using my imagination to create! While I have always been a ”creator” from a young age, my whole life I told myself that it would always just be a hobby or side job. I didn’t have the confidence or courage to break into the unknown and do something out of my comfort zone…After-all, as much as I knew about this field and no matter how good I was at it… I was a ”restaurant person”. I worked my way up learning every position in Restaurants, and now I was a Senior Restaurant Manager. I was good at what I did! People don’t just stop doing what they are good at because they aren’t over the moon happy doing it, right!? I wish I learned the answer (a big WRONG!!) so much sooner.

I spent so much of my time saying yes and helping others, filling my time with projects and perfecting endless checklists… I lost track of me. I was filling everyone’s cup so full, that mine was near empty! I realized I wasn’t living my life by design; I was living on autopilot. Most of all, I wasn’t helping others; the one thing I knew DID make me happy.

I started to question…What else made me happy? What made me tick? How can I help others with my talents? It wasn’t until I started to work on myself and my personal growth that I discovered the answers to these questions. I started to water the leaves of my own life and not just others. In that, I grew and with it…the idea of Next Level Social grew too.

I ate, slept and breathed Social Media Marketing for a year straight. I watched webinars, read blogs, took courses, spent time running social media accounts. Practicing photography, writing. sharpening all of the tools in my box and manifesting the life I dreamed of; a life that included more time with those that mean the most to me and most of all, a career that I felt a passion and purpose for.

With the fire under me to now use this gift to help others, Next Level Social was in motion. I left my career and jumped headfirst into the unknown! Within a few months, Next Level Social was born!  It’s a lot of work. It’s a learning process and it’s a lot of blood sweat and tears… But it’s SO worth it. With this, I am also here to remind you it is never too late to take a sharp left turn on the road of life. It’s never too late for a plot twist. It’s never too late to follow your calling! I am so happy I did and so excited about what the next chapter holds.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing good ever came easy right!? I would be lying if I said operating a business is a piece of cake! There may be days where things don’t go as planned. There may be days where you are having an off day. There’s no one there to save you when that happens. It’s your business, your integrity of your clients, so everything you do is a reflection of that. To be successful for myself and my clients, I know I have to show up 110% and work my tail off every day to create results for them…even on the bad days. Creativity can never sleep!

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
Next Level Social is the name, Hospitality is my game! I am a Social Media Freelancer & Coach, focusing on helping businesses reach their goals through Social Media Marketing. Working in Restaurants for years and being an avid “foodie”, my Niche is definitely Restaurants and food-related businesses, however, I specialize in all small businesses who are a good fit and in need of what I offer!

My mission is to give business owners back their time and freedom, so they can spend their precious (and rare) free time living their life…not boggled down doing their marketing and Social Media!

I’m a believer that Social Media management is more than just posting pretty pictures and is an entire world of knowledge and strategy. I apply this to create a Social Media presence with an ”edge” that focuses on putting the ”social” back in social media. Using: Copy-write, photography, handmade Graphic Design and a custom strategy, I take businesses to the next level using Social Media Marketing.

I am most proud of the values Next Level Social is built on: Strong Beliefs, hard work and integrity. I believe in creating options for every budget and need! I believe wholeheartedly in treating each client like family and making sure their voice is heard. I believe in breaking the mold of marketing by running each client’s Social like it is my own business, not a one size fits all. I don’t believe in nickel and diming small projects that I can do as a courtesy, to ensure I go above and beyond for my clients. I believe in under-promising and over-delivering, always!

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Growing up in the mountains of California in a small town was an amazing experience, and I have so many great memories! I was a total tomboy and most of my best memories include playing basketball at the neighborhood rec center just down the street from my house. We would play until the lights shut off and then walk home. Days of a simpler time!

I also remember spending hours upon hours, writing stories, poetry and songs in my room while listening to the “Hollywood Hot 100” I had recorded on tape. It’s crazy to think how far we have come with technology and what I do now didn’t even exist back then. Not to date myself, but I may or may not have owned a pager at one point, and used the payphone to call and check in with my mom when I was out in the neighborhood with friends!!
