Meet Ann Noder of Pitch Public Relations

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ann Noder.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Ann. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I am a former TV news reporter and anchor, including six years in Tucson at the ABC affiliate anchoring Good Morning Tucson. I spent 10 years in broadcasting before making the switch to public relations – and definitely found my true passion! In 2009, I started Pitch Public Relations – a boutique firm specializing in national media for consumer and business-to-business companies. I love using my “news knowledge” to land significant press for clients. I’m also a wife (22 years) and a mom to two teenage boys who attend Basha High School in Chandler.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Owning and growing a business is never smooth 100% of the time. There are always challenges. But I’m proud to have expanded Pitch PR from a one-person startup to a thriving business with a team of 14! We have carefully worked to maintain close, personal relationships with our clients (and the media contacts we work with) and we’ve kept the same reputation for results, even as our roster expanded. We are bigger and better, but still scrappy and relentless in our approach.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Pitch Public Relations – what should we know?
Pitch Public Relations is a Phoenix-based boutique firm specializing in national media. We have a distinguished reputation for helping startups and big brands land significant media coverage with print, broadcast and online press.

Our style is unique in that we tailor the pitch depending on the media target for maximum exposure. Landing a feature in the Wall Street Journal is completely different than a segment on The Today Show.

We are scrappy and relentless in our approach!
