Meet Angie Brown Reiter of Geology of the Soul in Tucson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Brown Reiter.

Angie, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’ve been reading Tarot for over 20 years, and I’ve been reading energy since I was a kid. About a year ago, a friend asked me to read for her. I realized I could read professionally and began doing so as a “side hustle” as I worked my way through grad school.

I love reading energy. I come away from readings with energy and joy, even the tough readings. Why? Because knowledge is power. When you know and understand what’s going on, you can make better decisions moving forward; you learn how you have the power in your life, and how to use it. And I get to help you do that?! Sweet!!

Has it been a smooth road?
I launched the official business on winter solstice of 2018, and readings began coming in, slow and steady. This May, I began to read cards daily using the Facebook Live feature, and my reach skyrocketed. This summer, I realized I could take this full-time and make it my day job! The biggest struggle was deciding whether I was willing and ready to leave grad school to focus on the business. Ultimately, I decided the grad school program I was in wasn’t right for me, so that made it easier to move forward.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
We have places for physical healthcare and well-being and places for mental healthcare and well-being, but what about spiritual or psychic healthcare and well-being?

I provide a safe space for folks to dig deep into their psyche. Through the use of Tarot cards and energy readings, I can help my clients understand their story–and how to change it. By pinpointing actionable small steps, I help people heal old wounds and grow into their authentic selves.

Additionally, I provide in-person workshops at The Ninth House Shop, a Tucson-based metaphysical store, as well as online courses to help people develop their intuition and learn about witchcraft.

I’m known for my bubbly and engaging style that also manages to, as one client says, “hand your a$$ to you.” With a mouth like a sailor’s and a no-holds-barred approach, clients can trust that I am going to give them the truth of a situation–and then cheerlead them through it, helping them find their own unique strengths and way forward.

When you look back, what are you most proud of?
Getting a shout-out on social media from the person I consider my mentor, an internationally known author and speaker.
