Meet Angela Wright

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Wright.

Angela, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Well, growing up I’ve always been creative, coloring was initially my “thing”. Until I finally met my sisters around the age of ten. They are amazing artists. They share this gift with my father, and I was a tad bit jealous of them. (I felt out of the loop really.) At that time I was just painting designs on my dresser with nail polish that I wasn’t supposed to have. Around the age of 25, I decided to buy a sketchbook, that lasted about two weeks before I had an urge to paint something. My first painting was the size of my hand but I fell in love with it.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This road has been bumpy since I started, just like everything else it has its up’s and down’s. But it’s also very rewarding when you can inspire others. I think the most challenging thing for me, is not giving up. I’ve wanted to throw the towel in soo many times. But you didn’t get this far, just to get this far right?

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My essential qualities, that’s the qualities that most people can’t see from just looking at me. That would be my compassion for people, my passion to inspire, The urge I have to tell my story so that it may help other people. I believe these things will help me succeed in what I’m trying to change in the world.
