Meet Angela and Chuck Fazio of The Forum Coworking and Events in Chandler

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela and Chuck Fazio.

Angela and Chuck, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Chuck and Angela originally met in Real Estate as individual agents. Although they started as failures in the business, by the grace of God in a few short years they rose to be one of the top agents in Arizona. They ran one of the top teams and, in 2005, opened up a real estate brokerage. Currently, that brokerage is the top single office brokerage in the nation. Since 2005, they have used what they’ve learned to open several other successful businesses including a real estate school, title company, business school and The Forum Coworking and Events.

The Forum is not your ordinary coworking space. The Forum exists to establish an environment where people are free to grow and thrive financially, professionally, personally and spiritually together. Therefore, they combine a variety of services to include business training, social and business events, a coworking and event center concept and a bar café to provide a place where career, community and culture meet.

The Forum has public and private space including a bar café, event center, podcast rooms, green screen room, private offices, conference rooms, game room, fitness center, phone booths, and a huge, resort like the patio. They even have chair massage and an aesthetician on site.

The Forum members not only build their expertise and careers but also entertain and add value to their clients’ lives through both business and social opportunities. If members know that their clients are small business people, they can bless them by giving them networking and training events provided by The Forum. Social events are plentiful. Members can bring their clients to attend comedy nights, dueling pianos, UFC fights, paint and wine nights, murder mystery dinners and much more. That way, relationships are strengthened. The Forum is serious about adding value.

The Forum also uses the resources they’ve developed to positively affect the local business community in the East Valley. The coworking environment invites local business people into The Forum and offers not only an incredible environment to work in but also a welcoming place to meet clients. They too can take advantage of the business training, events and social opportunities. Strong local businesses strengthen the East Valley and The Forum is GREAT at equipping entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The Forum is becoming a popular private event venue as well. The public can utilize the spaces for both social and business events. The indoor main event space can hold more than 200 people. The numerous conference rooms and other flex spaces offer an inviting and practical place to accommodate many different purposes. For example, many businesses find the venue optimal. Not only is the event space ample but it can also offer many choices for break out sessions. In addition to this, The Forum’s business clients can have great meals and happy hours through our full bar and café.

The outdoor patio rivals any resort hotel patio. It’s 7,000 square feet and even has a second level. There is a full bar outside as well. The Forum has accommodated everything from elegant rehearsal dinners and birthday parties, business luncheons and team building to charitable events.

Finally, The Forum aims to richly bless the community at large. They recently associated themselves with East Valley Connect Facebook group. The goal with that group is to let the community learn more about the East Valley and the people who work here. The Forum offers bricks and mortar manifestation of the virtual community developing through this group. The Forum even bought a couple of limos to enhance the business/community experience.

The Forum’s central theme is from Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Heck no. Building something worthwhile and innovative is always a challenging project and we love it!! One of our passions is building things and overcoming obstacles is one of the pleasures (and pains) of doing it well. Many things are challenging. Finding like minded team members, being consistent, always pushing forward, continually learning, developing and working each day on your mindset and many other things are essential to success.

Tell us about your business.
I believe that I adequately described ourselves in our history section.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
I can’t say we’ve had a “proudest” moment but there are some invaluable characteristics about what God has allowed us to do. First, Chuck and I are best friends. We haven’t spent one day or night apart since we’ve been together and been able to do everything as a power couple is a tremendous blessing. Secondly, we have, over the years, attracted amazing team mates to help us “do life” together. We are a bunch of like minded people who love challenges and there is great reward building together. God has worked through us and our team to create something worthwhile that blesses a whole lot of people. That’s just awesome!
