Meet Andy Benedek of Luguensi Pressure Washing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andy Benedek.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
It all started when I was 16 years old. A sophomore in High school. As soon as I turned 16, like any other teenager I went out as soon as I could to apply for jobs. After applying to numerous franchises I either never heard back from them or I had an interview and it wasn’t successful. Feeling discouraged and down I thought started coming up with ideas on what else I could do to make some money. I originally thought of detailing cars until I saw on YouTube there were successful pressure washing businesses out there and it was a super saturated market. I then went to our garage borrowed out little pressure washer bought about $500 worth of equipment and landed my first job from Facebook. I was also using my mom’s SUV at the time. After making my first $100 bucks it really encouraged me to keep going. I then kept working and working at this side hustle saving up for a truck (which I bought couple months into starting), I bought a better pressure washer, and kept I kept re-investing back into equipment. About a year and half later I started my LLC, got insurance, bought a full pressure washing trailer rig, and high quality chemicals and equipment. I am now running a full time exterior cleaning/pressure washing business making about 5-6k a month while still in high school. We are aiming to hopefully increase those numbers this month moving forward significantly.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It is never a smooth journey. There was so many things I had to learn through experience and mentors. Business is not easy it can be stressful especially as a high school student. However I am pushing through strong and have big goals in mind that will take hard work and dedication to achieve.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Luguensi Pressure Washing ?
Luguensi, was originated from my grandpa back in Peru who has a boat fishing boat business in Chimbote, Peru. He came up with Luguensi by combining his names. Before I was born my grandpa told my mom (if you have a son, I want his middle name to be Luguensi) therefore my middle name is Luguensi as well. My grandpa unfortunately passed away a few years ago before Covid. This last time when I was in Peru the lightbulb came up in my head. My business can be Luguensi! That’s where it originated from and now I want to carry my grandpas legacy but here in the states. I am the owner/ operator at Luguensi Pressure Washing. We do exterior cleaning. Anything from driveway cleaning, backyard cleaning/maintenance, PAVER SEALING, house wash, roof wash, stain treatments, garbage and dumpster pad cleaning and disinfecting, and much more! I am know for the Pressure Washing King from Copa. Also known for being a young entrepreneur with a successful pressure washing/ exterior cleaning business here in Maricopa, Arizona. What really sets us apart from others is that we pride ourselves in premium services and professionalism. Not only are you supporting a local young entrepreneur but we build a personal connection with our clients instead of being a one time and done company. We want to work with our clients for life. I am very proud of my business. Building it from ground up, coming up with a name, logo, branding, etc. we are working on perfecting our logo and branding as well as social media and website that way after high school I can take it up a notch and take this business to the moon.
