Hi Andrea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi, I’m Andrea Apollo Lawler. I work alongside my husband, Attorney Scott Lawler, as a paralegal and the business development and marketing liaison for The Lawler Group. Our firm represents clients in estate planning and corporate transactions, helping families and business owners protect their legacies with clarity and confidence.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Would I say it’s been a smooth road for me? Not always — but every step has been worth it. As an immigrant from Brazil, I had to build a career in a new country, learn a new language, and adapt to a completely different legal system. The journey came with fresh starts and valuable learning experiences that ultimately made me stronger and more committed to the work I do today.
One of the greatest blessings in my journey has been working closely with my husband, Scott. He is an excellent attorney and an incredible mentor. Every day he teaches me — not just about the law, but about treating people with dignity, patience, and genuine concern. Watching his dedication has deeply influenced the way I approach my own work.
