Hi Andrea, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Lash Rebellion began as part of my personal journey of self-discovery and empowerment. After spending over a decade in customer service, I realized how much I loved connecting with people — especially helping women feel seen, confident, and beautiful in their own skin. What started as a simple curiosity about lash artistry quickly became a deep passion and creative outlet for me.

I trained, practiced, and poured my heart into perfecting my craft, but more importantly, I wanted to build something meaningful — a space that represents self-love and confidence. That’s how Lash Rebellion was born — a place where beauty meets intention, and where every client leaves feeling lighter, more radiant, and more in touch with their feminine energy.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I think that’s what makes it beautiful. Starting Lash Rebellion meant stepping into unknown territory — taking risks, facing self-doubt, and learning to trust myself along the way. There were times when I questioned if I was good enough, or if I was ready to build something on my own. Balancing personal growth, financial pressure, and the desire to create something meaningful was challenging.

But every struggle taught me something valuable — resilience, patience, and the importance of staying connected to my “why.” The moments of uncertainty pushed me to grow not only as a lash artist but as a woman. I’ve learned that the path to success isn’t linear — it’s full of lessons, breakthroughs, and opportunities to come back stronger.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in creating custom lash sets that enhance natural beauty and confidence. Each set is tailored to the individual’s eye shape and symmetry to create the most flattering, balanced look. I’m known for my soft, natural styles and the calming, uplifting energy I bring to each appointment. What sets Lash Rebellion apart is the heart behind it — it’s more than lashes, it’s about self-love and empowering women to feel their best.

I’m most proud of the growth and confidence I’ve found through building Lash Rebellion, and the genuine connections I’ve created with my clients. Seeing women leave feeling beautiful, grounded, and empowered reminds me why I started.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I draw most of my inspiration from local businesses and friends. I also follow mentors like LightHeart Lash, Lanna Lashes, and Borboleta, tuning into their seminars and keeping up with trends so I can offer my clients variety. Seeing my entrepreneurial friends — @daniellezampino, @houseoftouchaz, @cut.collective, and @sagesolpiercing — stay creative and bold pushes me to step out of my comfort zone and keep growing my business.
