Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrea Apodaca

Hi Andrea, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I always knew I wanted to become famous. As I child a dreamt of doing all sorts of things like opening a bakery, being a famous actor to being a softball coach. My dreams constantly changed as I grew up but being someone with a following was always on my goals. I decided to make a TikTok account to share my life of the things I love like makeup, styling clothes, skin care, vlogs, and just talking about anything and everything.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There has been some struggles of feeling I am not good enough or that I am not posting anything of value. It can be a mental challenge also dealing with the incoming hate that one receives. It is tricky to not let it get to you but I do my best to push aside those comments and block any negative comments people try to leave.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am currently a undergraduate student at Northern Arizona University with the plan to graduate December 2024. I want to continue my education and get my masters to become a sports psychologist. As a Spanish speaking Latina, I want to help the Latino community in baseball. I want to be able to help with any mental problems that baseball players are facing so they can excel in playing. I would love to work for the San Diego Padres one day and live in San Diego for the majority of my life.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
The more people you know the better. Sometimes just reaching out to people can be the best thing for you. The worst thing someone can tell you is no so always shoot your shot and reach out.
