Today we’d like to introduce you to AnaLisa Alderete.
Hi AnaLisa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My career in the beauty industry officially kicked off in 2012 when I graduated from cosmetology school. From the jump, I was all about the art of the face. I started out as a freelance artist for Lancôme, which eventually led me to the high-energy world of MAC Cosmetics. During that time, I was living a double life—by day, I was perfecting bridal looks, and by night, I was backstage doing runway makeup. It was fast-paced, glamorous, and I loved every second of it.
However, as my family grew, my priorities shifted. Having small children meant that spending every single weekend away at weddings or shows wasn’t the vibe anymore. I decided to take a step back to be present for the little moments. During that “break,” I kept my skills sharp with occasional side gigs, but I also spent a significant amount of time working in the healthcare industry. That experience taught me a level of precision and care that you just can’t get anywhere else.
Then 2020 happened. While the world was on pause, I realized it was time to stop building everyone else’s dream and start building my own. I knew I wanted to be my own boss; I just had to decide if makeup was still my “forever” move.
I dove headfirst into continuing my education, shifting my focus toward waxing and specialized skin lightening. I found a new passion in the technical, results-driven side of esthetics. Once I launched, things officially took off! Today, I’m fully established in my own space, providing high-end services that make my clients feel confident and powerful. I still pick up a makeup brush every once in a while when the inspiration strikes, but my heart (and my hustle) is now firmly planted in the world of professional skin transformations.
I’ve gone from runway glam to business owner, and I haven’t looked back since.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
To be honest? The road wasn’t just “bumpy”—it was a full-on off-road trek in the beginning.
Let’s be real: starting a business from absolute zero is a massive reality check. Walking into a studio with an empty books and zero clientele is enough to make anyone second-guess their sanity. I knew I had the skill, but getting people through that door was a whole different beast.
Then came the “content creator” era of modern business. For someone who is naturally a bit shy, having to constantly hop on camera and show my face to the world felt like a nightmare. Promoting myself on social media wasn’t just hard; it was a daily battle with my own comfort zone. I had to learn how to own my space and find my voice, even when I secretly wanted to hide behind the wax pot.
I wouldn’t be where I am today without my incredible family and friends. They were the ultimate hype team when things got quiet, and their support is exactly what kept me pushing forward. It’s been a wild ride, but honestly? The struggle just makes the success look that much better.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter spa experience, you’ve come to the wrong place. Located right in the heart of downtown Chandler, my suite is a mood—literally. Think moody vibes, total relaxation, and a strictly zero-judgment zone. I’ve created a space where you can kick off your shoes, be yourself, and leave looking (and feeling) like the absolute best version of yourself.
We aren’t just a suite; we’re a one-stop beauty powerhouse. I share this gorgeous space with two equally talented women—one hair magician and one lash and facial queen. Basically, you can walk in a mess and walk out a masterpiece without ever leaving the building.
What I Do (The Specialties)
I don’t just “do beauty”—I specialize in the details that make you feel unstoppable. My bread and butter?
• Full Body Waxing: Smooth skin is a lifestyle, and I’ve mastered the art of making it as quick and painless as possible.
• Skin Color Correction: I specialize in skin lightening treatments to help you achieve that even, radiant glow you’ve been chasing.
• Coming Soon: I’m leveling up! Stay tuned for Skin Tag Removal services hitting the menu shortly.
The Heart of the Brand: A Unique Calling
While I love a good wax, my brand is built on something much deeper. I offer a specialized service that sets me apart from almost anyone else in the industry: Restorative Makeup for the Deceased. It’s a heavy task, but it’s one I carry with immense pride. Being able to provide a sense of peace to grieving families is a feeling I truly can’t describe. When I receive messages from families telling me their loved one looked peaceful and like themselves again, it reminds me why I do what I do. I’m here for families in a way most people can’t be, and providing that comfort during their hardest moments is what I’m most proud of.
Why Choose Us?
What sets me apart? It’s the balance of technical skill and genuine soul. 1. The Vibe: My suite is designed to be your sanctuary. It’s warm, it’s moody, and it’s a place where you can exhale.
2. The Confidence: My mission is simple: I want you to feel confident in your skin. Whether you’re here for a Brazilian or a skin correction consultation, you’re getting 100% of my expertise and zero judgment.
3. The Convenience: Hair, lashes, facials, and waxing all in one spot? It’s a no-brainer.
”You deserve to feel confident, comfortable, and seen. If you give us a try, I promise you’ll fall in love with the experience.”
In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
Let’s be real: the beauty industry changes faster than a mood ring, but I’m always three steps ahead. Over the next decade, we’re ditching the basic ‘rip and go’ mentality for a more sophisticated, skin-first approach. We’re talking high-tech diagnostics, eco-conscious formulas, and products that treat your skin like the VIP it is.
That’s exactly why my long-term vision is to move beyond the suite and into the lab. I’m planning to drop my own line of professional wax and aftercare—products designed by someone who actually knows your skin, not just a boardroom. Because if you’re going to be smooth, you might as well be iconic.”
