Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Waterman. 

Hi Amanda, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
My name is Amanda “Supreme Truth” Waterman. I became an entrepreneur in 2014 as a Fashion Stylist for Actress/Artist Arkesha “Kashdoll” Knight from Detroit, MI. Arkesha “Kashdoll” Knight is a Co-Star for the latest STARZ Series BMF. She helped me start my Brand Management and Fashion Stylist Agency- Main Stream Styling, LLC. I moved to Chicago, IL shortly after I launched my company I got hired as lead fashion stylist and image consultant for artist Shaffer Jones of Lawless INC. recording label; I became a force in the music industry of CHI-Town. In between brand managing record labels, I continued my modeling career and featured in several magazines for my work as “A Game Changer’ in the Fashion and entertainment Industry. I am very hands-on with my companies. I always want to leave the impression of Real, Authentic, and TRUTH in everything I touch. I worked in Chicago for 4 years, while doing so I negotiated a brand management contract with a corporate company in Las Vegas, NV and spread my wings to the west coast. I have reinvited my company several times to proudly say I have been in business for 10 years and running. I started a CBD and self-Care Franchise in 2018 called Crowned by Truth, LLC where we sell relaxation products that encourage self-love and stress relief. I consider myself not just an entrepreneur but a MOGUL. On a personal level, I am a Phoenix that has risen from adversity and shining in my own light.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Becoming an entrepreneur is NOT for the weak. Finding your niche or what your great at can be a struggle that comes from within. I had to change a lot in order to evolve into who I am today. Failure has been my greatest teacher. At one point I invested all my money in my company and went broke. I was homeless for a few weeks and I had to make a solid oath with myself that I would NEVER fall that low again. By the grace of God and the universe, I was mentally able to heal and grow from that situations. Faith, Fearlessness, and the Will to believe in my dreams help me not give up. 

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Creative. I do scriptwriting, creative directing, and visual merchandising for companies all over the world. Main Stream Styling, LLC has evolved into a multi-media branding firm over the last 10 years. I have currently been working on a 3-year production for a Documentary called “Memoirs from the Truth” which will be airing in 2022 on the M.I.S.E ROKU Network. I am all about self-love, so I own a self-care franchise which houses products that focus on assisting with anxiety and stress. 

I am most proud of my resilience and Faith in God; they have been the keys to getting me this far. 

What sets me apart from everyone else is my spirit. The integrity I have to bring the best art, service, and product in my industry is Supreme. 

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc?
I love to read books, not kindles, physical copies of BOOKS. My favorite author is Depak Chopra but the two book that I am reading now is “You are a badass: How to stop doubting your greatness and start living an awesome life.” by Jen Sincero AND “Make the Hood Healthy Again” VOL. 1 By Asa Lockett & Rafa Wright. I love self-help books.
