Meet Alissa Noriega of God Gave Me Swag in Tempe

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alissa Noriega .

Alissa, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my faith walk in 2013 where I was completely captured by the love, mercy, and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. During my spiritual transformation God had set down on the inside of me “God Gave Me Swag” which would later become a women’s T-shirt line. It took me seven years to launch my business and walk out on faith. This line has been created to empower and inspire women to live boldly for Christ, but also to wear merchandise that represents the Kingdom of God.

The journey has had many ups and downs. Times of fear and doubt. But, walking out on faith and trusting God has brought so many wonderful blessings. I’m excited for the next level of my business.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road wasn’t smooth for me personally. Being a single mom, I use to worry a lot about being able to launch because of past financial stresses. I battled with that plus also fear of failure or just “what if it doesn’t work.” But, God has completely provided and made ways for me to launch and be where I am today in my business.

Please tell us about God Gave Me Swag.
God Gave Me Swag currently has two types of t-shirts available. The first is “God Gave Me Swag.” Swag stands for strength, wisdom, amor, and grace. The second type of T-shirt is “Jesus Is Real.” I’m proud of the boldness in my T-shirt because this is a representation of my faith.

What sets me apart it’s my warrior-like, bold, and fearless stance when it comes to ministering you others about Jesus.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I have so many, but I’d say my favorite memory would be hanging out with my best friend who transitioned to Heaven in 2002.
