Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexander Chambers.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Alexander. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
As long as I can remember, the men in my family have captured moments, big and small, with the technology available to them. My interest in documenting and telling stories is an extension of that. Showcasing my world in an authentic way through film has brought an interesting cast of people, places, and events into my life. Bringing stories to life is the alchemy I’m always seeking to master.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Being a freelance creative has it’s up’s and down’s. You’re responsible for everything.

Scripting, filming, editing, meetings, it’s a lot. Managing time and meeting deadlines on multiple projects can be nerve-wracking.

Establishing workflows, checklists, and automation has done a lot for streamlining my projects.

As a filmmaker, I love creating and telling stories that connect deeply with what makes us human. Showcasing progression, resilience, passion and the grit it takes to bring something new into reality.

With my production company, Tinker Creative Agency, I don’t set out to just make beautiful videos, or even simply to tell a great story. I set out to combine both those things with an effort to increase awareness for my client’s brands.

In that world, I use video to solve problems.

How do you define success?
I measure success with happiness. I’m happy with what I’m producing and who I’m working with these days.
