Meet Albert Flores

Today we’d like to introduce you to Albert Flores.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I held a job at an equipment leasing and financing company before starting Lifebooth. It’s not a, “I quit my 9-5, I hated my job” type of story. I currently manage a store and run other businesses as well. I simply wanted to own another business and provide a service that I would enjoy doing and be motivated every day to become excellent at it. I had this idea and spoke to my current business partner Isaac about it as I realized to do anything great you will need help, and he was all for it.

We decided to start an event and large gathering business just as covid was becoming a serious thing. I was sent to work from home eventually and a few weeks later our booth was delivered. While making work calls all I could think about it is figuring the booth out. Boldly, I quit. I spent the next month or two, I think, as time wasn’t a concept during quarantine learning all I could about the booth. Fast forward to now, we have made significant improvements to the booth and have taken photos of at least 10,000 people, and have met the kindest vendors and people.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
There are never smooth roads in life or anything within it, especially business. To live is to struggle. Luckily the bumps in the road didn’t phase me as much as if it wasn’t my first rodeo. I started a phone repair business prior to Lifebooth and it taught me a lot.

This experience helped me navigate any problems we encountered at Lifebooth and helped me predict problems. So much so that we just avoided them. The problems were never problems, to begin with.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We aim to bring a photo studio to your event in the form of a photo booth without any of the tension most people experience at a typical photo studio. We pride ourselves in providing the best experience and image quality possible regardless of how expensive our supplies or equipment might be. We value life and your memories so much, so we want to create a special and unique experience because you deserve to preserve these moments at the highest level of quality available. Since we cannot go back in time, we think it’s crucial to do it right the first and only time.

This also lets us provide a consistent experience and effective relationship with everyone we serve. I want to uphold the highest possible standard of service and only offer the absolute best product because we know what we are capable of, so why settle for anything less than that. We want to leave a legacy that even my unborn kids would be proud of.

What does success mean to you?
Success is having the freedom to spend your time in whatever way you see fit, preferably on productive things.

Although I do find myself enjoying wasting time watching a movie or sleeping all day from time to time. Success is being self-aware and coming to terms with your flaws and your strengths. Success is not being your own hell.
