Meet Koran Hardimon, Alayna and Lawrence Joseph of Advention

Today we’d like to introduce you to Koran Hardimon, Alayna and Lawrence Joseph.

Koran, Alayna, and Lawrence, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Advention was started in early 2018 when the founders realized there was a need for a space to specifically teach business owners and entrepreneurs more about the achievement of sustainable economic freedom and how that starts with the principles of their faith. The founders shared a love for entrepreneurship and immediately hit the ground running. Today Advention is fully established and committed to bringing this concept to life through classes, workshops and various community resources.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road for us. Our main challenge has been truly identifying who it is we’d like to serve as we know many can truly benefit from what we plan to offer. Through much research and lots of conversation, we are getting closer and closer each day.

Please tell us about Advention.
Once we launch later this year, we will provide a curriculum that will cater to new and aspiring entrepreneurs. It will help them understand the benefits of merging their faith with their business and walk them through the process of either defining their business idea or refining it. We envision our organization being known as the leader in entrepreneurial training and for it to truly change the landscape of entrepreneurship.

We have received a lot of awesome feedback and support from the community thus far and that has given us the momentum to continue to move forward.

We believe our vision and team are what set us apart. While there are a few in this space, we want to be able to collaborate, innovate and truly see lives change.

Is there anyone in particular you would like to recognize? Mentors, etc?
Most of the credit goes to our team. We have been working on this concept for over a year now and we are finally starting to see it gradually come to life. We have much more in store, but the team has stayed committed to the vision that has been put forth.
