Meet Adam Cola

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adam Cola.

Adam, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Sure! I started dancing at a very young age as I was gifted with a knack for picking up choreography with ease. I had this rhythm from a young age and I loved singing and performing. I spent every day watching music videos of my favorite artists like Usher, MJ and Britney. I always dreamed of being a superstar. My life led me to several twists and turns before my mission became clear, so I moved to and pursued my music career.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I don’t believe any road worth pursuing is ever smooth. I’ve struggled many times both personally and professionally thus far in my career. I had to overcome a lot of hurdles with physical wellbeing. I had to create balance in my life in order to be the best artist I could be. I had many opportunities that were missed due to bad timing, poor judgment, misguidance and other reasons both in and out of my control. The struggle is real for any artist starting out in their career, but it makes the special moments it all worthwhile. Having people connect with my music is the biggest gift of all.

Tell us about your work – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am an entertainer with a passion for fashion and making the world a more inclusive, loving place. Individuality is something I celebrate, and I hope my listeners feel empowered when they see me perform or listen to my music. I aim to inspire fearlessness and self-expression without judgment.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I want to be known for the production value I bring to any artistic endeavor. I can’t stand putting something out that doesn’t meet my high expectations. I am an artist and am guilty of being a perfectionist. I try to harness that energy towards creating a great product. However, I stay level headed and I don’t take myself too seriously.
