Meet Abigail and Dion Mcnair of All We Do Is Wander

Today we’d like to introduce you to Abigail and Dion Mcnair.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Dion was given the option to retire and we decided to give this nomadic life a try. Early 2017 we formulated a plan, sold everything, and we were ready to take the big leap. By summer of 2017 with only our carry-on suitcases we head to Mexico, and haven’t stopped since.

We’ve traveled to Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, 36 state road trip, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka (Fall2018) Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan.

I know you’re think WHAT! But, let’s skip that and jump to how.

Planning is everything! Having the right things in place makes all the difference in successful nomadic travel. We minimized our bills, got rid of our debt, and travel to destinations where the dollar thrives. We also have a community of resources and tip to aid in the challenges of travel. Because there are always challenges in travel!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It hasn’t been a smooth road by far, but nothing worth having comes easy. Life is full of challenges and travel life is no different. Raising children, finances, balancing school and pursuing passions each have created an obstacle that we strive to overcome.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the All We Do Is Wander story. Tell us more about the business.
We are a nomadic family of 6 inspiring others to get out and see the world. Our company TLC Travel Life Coaching provides travel coaching for those who want to make travel a priority in their lives. We also assist families who want to become nomadic.

Most proud that we have inspired others through our lifestyle and our coaching to live the life they’ve been dreaming of!!

We aren’t just talk! We are living examples that it’s possible, we stay connected with our clients. Each client becomes a part of our travel community.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I’m not sure I believe in luck, more like Karma. What you give out is often what comes back to you, and we try to live as we would want our children to live. Therefore I think karma has giving us just want we gave.
