Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronica Chandler.

Hi Veronica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I started my photography journey in my middle school yearbook class! Take photos to add to our yearbook spreads. I loved it. So, moving on to high school- I signed up for photography class. This class was where I learned the basics of composition & camera settings. I enjoyed taking photos and being able to create something beautiful. When teachers would ask, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” My answer was always something artistic. The funny thing is, my answer was never “I want to be a photographer.” I knew there were photographers, but it felt so far-fetched! About a year ago, I picked up my camera- asked my sister to model for me & now I am a photographer! Based in Marana, Az. ,capturing beautiful weddings & college/ high school seniors.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being a small business owner is tough. But, it is 100% worth every hardship. Some struggles you face as a business owner include lack of motivation, imposter syndrome & even lack of funds! But, as I said before. Being a small business owner means you are in charge of everything. This includes research, billing / invoicing, marketing, social media, photographing, editing & delivery of galleries. All this work is worth every struggle!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a wedding and portrait photographer specializing in Wedding Photography & Senior Portrait Photography; I am most proud of my business. Owning a business is not easy & I am so blessed to own a business that I am passionate about. One thing that sets me apart from others is ensuring my client’s experience is as stress-free as possible! I want my clients to enjoy every second of our time together. I am starting with our first conversation! I have tons of advice that I give clients on what to wear, locations for a photoshoot & even other vendors I recommend!

Any big plans?
I have future plans to book more weddings and keep giving my clients the perfect experience!
