Life & Work with Trisha Bishop of Scottsdale

Today we’d like to introduce you to Trisha Bishop.

Hi Trisha, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I went to Arizona State University to study Exercise Kinesiology and Nutrition. I planned to go into Physical Therapy and later decided to stay in Healthcare Administration. I’ve always had a passion for health and wellness and while pregnant with my daughter, fell in love with Lagree and decided to take that passion to the next level and open up a studio with my husband, Ryan.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has definitely been a learning experience for me, but one that has been worth it! I’ve never been a business owner, let alone working with my partner so it was a lot of trial and error in the beginning.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am currently a Lagree instructor at the studio. I got certified at Lagree Fitness Headquarters in LA in June of 2024 and have now taught over 200 classes since opening the studio.

What sets Karma apart from other studios, and something I am most proud of, is this amazing community we have built since our doors opened.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
I was always very loud and outspoken, a ball of energy for sure. As I got older, I became more quiet. Always very serious about school and wanting to do the best that I could!
