Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Race

Hi Stephanie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I have had a creative adventurous spirit since the day I was born! As a kid, I was very into arts and crafts, video editing, and being creative with technology. I love being in front of the camera just as much as showing off my creativity.

I began my social media management journey with myself. As an avid traveler, I began my own travel blog in 2019, where I get the chance to share my experiences through creative writing. I also began creating video reels and posting photos of my travels to attract other travel lovers on social media.

I had an untraditional journey to get to where I am as a social media manager. I went to college to be a teacher. After college, I taught for two years. During my second year, I began working part time for a start up company. They recognized my adaptability skills and asked me to work for them full time after the school year as the national recruitment director and social media manager. That is when I made the transition to try out a new field of work. I learned a lot by helping to build a company. My skills in video and photo editing came in handy as well as my flexibility, travel experience, leadership, and organizational skills. During this career I learned that social media management is something I would enjoy doing for other clients. So, I found my first client and gave it a go! It must have gone well, because she had two other business owners reach out and ask her who she works with. I currently have 3 clients, plus myself, and hope to continue to grow my business!

My passion to travel is what drives my personal pages and website. Traveling opens up a world of experiences that enrich my life in so many ways. It’s not just about seeing popular landmarks, but about immersing myself in different cultures, meeting people with different perspectives, and breaking out of my comfort zone. I am an adventurous spirit who wants to see the world and share my experiences! I hope that my travel tips will help others explore the world as well!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I am not to the point where I can fully rely on my own social media management business (or get paid to travel, which would be awesome), to where I don’t need another job to pay the bills. So, I am still growing and learning everyday! The drastic change in career paths was unexpected, but one of the best decisions I have made for myself!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My adaptability and flexibility set me apart from others. I have gone from a teacher, to a recruiter, social media manager, regional brand ambassador manager, to a door to door sales rep and starting my own social media management business on the side. Being able to learn new skills quickly and adapt to new environments is what makes me thrive in every position I have taken on. I would love to be able to help more business owners with their marketing management and watch them grow. I would also love to make a career out of traveling and creating my own content. We will see where time takes me!

How do you define success?
Success to me is having a sense of fulfillment in any area of life. Feeling like you are reaching goals, continually learning and growing and improving every step of the way. I think to be exited every day about what you do and your daily tasks is showing that you are at a point in life where you’ve had success.

• $500 for up to 4 hours of filming, 8 edited photos, 6 edited videos, across 1-3 platforms
• $750 for up to 6 hours of filming, 12 edited photos, 8 edited videos, across 1-4 platforms
