Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Chiasson.

Hi Natasha, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
It all started when I moved to Arizona from California. I was looking for local restaurants and the mom-and-pop shop’s in my area. I always love to explore and support my community. Doing so, I found some and immediately started connecting with different business owners and supporting their businesses.

For the past couple of years, I have been a big supporter of local businesses and built relationships with so many creators and influencers through my journey. I was then inspired to start my own family business page to pursue my passion for helping my community and showcase local businesses, hidden gems, and the best of AZ. Now, I am building and creating friendships with my community of followers to showcase all the local businesses in Arizona that our community should know about.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It was definitely a strut, in the beginning, to transition from California to Arizona. It was really tough being away from my family and loved ones. I had a very close bond with my family. I went from seeing them weekly to only seeing them once every 6 months, which was difficult. I knew moving to Arizona was a good decision for my family.

The first year of moving to Arizona was a struggle not knowing anyone or local businesses. On the days that hit me hard, I went out and pursued my passion which is networking and meeting people in my community to support their businesses and help my community. I quickly reached out to neighbors and local businesses around me. I then started my social media page where I was documenting my journey and adventures with my family in Arizona.

Through the adventures, I met so many people and support so many local businesses. I grew to love my community and now help my community!

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am the founder of @az_familyadventures on social media. I love to support small and local businesses. I love to create content for different businesses to help them showcase their business to help them grow. I help market and promote mom-and-pop shops, food trucks, resorts, family adventures, services, restaurants, and many more amazing Arizona businesses. There are so many hidden gems in Arizona that the community doesn’t know yet. I love to work with local businesses, it is definitely a passion of mine. I am proud to see these local businesses grow and fulfill their dreams.

What sets me apart from others is my passion for supporting local businesses and helping them grow. I know it is tough growing a business so I love to help with local giveaways on my platform. Not only are we giving back to the community, but we are also supporting these local businesses and bringing locals to their shops.

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
My family and friends gave me a nickname, “The Boot”, simply because as a star athlete as a kid I can kick a soccer ball unbelievably far. I was very close with my family, we traveled a lot. Since I grew up before the technology days, I was always playing outside, swimming, sports, hanging out with my friends, and going to parks or just exploring.

I was very outgoing, loud, and brave. As a teenager, I really just wanted to hang out with my family and friends. I loved listening to music and having fun. I was really the life of the party. I was the middle sister and had the best of times. They were and are literally my best friends my whole life.
