Today we’d like to introduce you to Meagan Ayres-Elieff and Meghan Fialkoff.
What can you tell us about your story?
Meagan Elieff, Founder: Our story begins in 2019, where we hosted our first Influencer invite only brunch in Vancouver, Canada followed by our official launch Party in February of 2020 in Vancouver at the prestigious Hycroft Manor!
Then of course, when COVID hit we turned to virtual events – Meghan and I crossed paths at our Build An Empire digital event with Elena Cardone. The proceeds of the event were benefiting a charity which Meghan happened to run. The charity was a co-host for the event. At the time, I had hosted over 40 events, reaching over 1000+ women in the Vancouver community, while Meghan had been the speaker and producer of more than 2,000 events with audiences ranging from children to CEO’s, throughout the US and internationally. After chatting with one another we both realized instantly that we could be incredible as business partners.
Together as The Modern Day Wife, Meghan and I have hosted over 30+ events both in person and virtually. We have had over 4,000 event attendees per year, we’ve worked closely with more than 250 Sponsors yearly – ranging from independent business owners to corporate companies including MAC, Pixi Beauty, Owl’s Brew, Nellie’s Clean, Lexus, Kendra Scott, Spade & Sparrows, Organika and have had renown featured speakers including Julie Chen Moonves, Rachel Lindsay, Haylie Duff and Marisol Nichols.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Meghan Fialkoff, Co-Founder: Our team began right at the beginning of the pandemic which was a huge obstacle for us at the time. We had to take our experience with in-person events and translate this to virtual events. With hardwork and dedication, we were able to focus on creating an online presence. Our global community became connected through our virtual events, social network, and our Exclusive Membership The Vault. As we fazed out of COVID restrictions and were able to host in-person events, this online community we created turned into a massive in person community of over 3000 + people that we have attending our events today. With each event, we always learn something new. Looking back, we’ve had highs and lows that any business experiences but we always try to look at every moment as a learning opportunity.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Meghan Fialkoff, Co-Founder: We are always trying to find ways to make our events more enjoyable for our attendees and sponsors along with fine tuning our events to make them run smoother. We’re taking a different approach at experiential events and marketing, bridging the gap between customer and brand. It can be difficult at times to come up with our own perimeters, but also exciting because we aren’t bound to certain expectations or specific narratives. We’re able to have fun with building our brand by trying new ideas.
A big project we’re working on outside of events, is our exclusive Modern Day Wife Vault Membership. Our goal is to expand this globally to connect women with big goals who want to take action in all areas of their lives – career, relationships and home-life!

Meagan Elieff, Founder: To Meghan and I, happiness is becoming the best version of ourselves. Being co-founders, we have become accountability partners, and truly push each other to reach our goals. We have grown so much as individuals and together as business partners. We truly love what we do and that translates in the work that we produce.
