Today we’d like to introduce you to Maggy Gioia.

Hi Maggy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
My life has been an adventure made out of occasions and opportunities. I am Maggy Gioia, an Italian influencer majoring in general business in Phoenix. When I was around 14 years old, my parents helped me pursue my acting career by sending me to modeling agencies. I enjoyed modeling and walking on runways, but it didn’t fit me. So, as time passed by, I received a casting opportunity for a reality show (Il Collegio 4, a top-rated and famous show all over Italy). Honestly, I wasn’t 100 percent positive about my interview, but I kept going on, answering all the questions and trying my best. At the casting, there were more than 60 thousand people; this did not discourage me. After a waiting period of about three months, I received a letter saying that I had accepted and that I would be leaving my parents for about a month to shoot the reality show. After that, I became quite famous for my character and personality. Later, I became an exchange student and moved to California to attend my junior year of high school. The following year, I moved to Arizona Paradise Valley to attend my senior year of high school, and now here I am in Downtown Phoenix. I live at the X Phoenix; I decided to move to Downtown because it is a city in development that offers plenty of opportunities. In a few years, Phoenix will be the new New York; it has potential and a young population.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road at all. After the show’s release, I received many negative comments from people on the internet regarding my mindset and ideas. However, I did not let this go through me; I fought back and won. I will never regret what I said or done. Being successful means having jealous enemies who envy you; it is normal. The most important thing is to go on, never give up, pursue your dreams, and don’t think about others’ opinions.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might need to be more familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a full-time student at Phoenix College majoring in general business. I decided to specialize in business to learn more about the secrets around our world system and take over my father’s business after school. As an influencer, I post stories and posts on Instagram to share with my friends. I share my routines, days, adventures, and tips on remaining focused on your studies.

Do you have recommendations for books, apps, blogs, etc.?
In my life, I learned a lot from YouTube, which is why I decided to share my knowledge on the app, too. I share book reviews and processes on how to open banking accounts as an international student. As a student, I use it a lot for presentations and notes. Sometimes, I go to TikTok for life tips.
