Hi Madhavi, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Madhavi Reddy : Founder/President – My Journey: From Agricultural Roots to Culinary Visionary
As an agriculture graduate with a deep love for Indian culture and cuisine, I’ve always dreamed of bringing the richness of Indian food to the local market in a way that resonates with both authenticity and innovation. My journey began humbly—with a few small fast-food ventures focused on Indian street food. While these early businesses were impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, I never gave up.
Instead, I used that experience to evolve. I recognized a significant gap in the local food scene—there was no true fine dining experience centered around Indian cuisine in the Valley. With support from my family and a relentless drive to pursue excellence, I partnered with one of India’s most celebrated chefs, Chef Sujan Sarkar, to bring a new vision to life.
Together, we set out to redefine the perception of Indian food in Arizona—not just as flavorful and comforting, but as sophisticated, artistic, and globally relevant. This vision culminated in the opening of the first Indian fine dining restaurant in the Valley.

Our mission remains simple but powerful: to celebrate Indian heritage through elevated culinary experiences and become a catalyst for redefining the food landscape in Arizona and beyond.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Every challenge has shaped who I am as an entrepreneur and leader.
I started with small fast-food ventures focused on Indian flavors, which unfortunately collapsed during COVID. Like many others in the industry, I faced tough decisions, financial strain, and moments of doubt. But I never lost sight of the vision—to elevate Indian cuisine in a way Arizona had never seen before.
Building a fine dining restaurant from the ground up—especially as the first of its kind in the Valley—came with its own hurdles. Educating the market, changing perceptions, finding the right team, and maintaining consistency in quality took everything we had. But with the unwavering support of my family and an incredible partnership with Our Chefs and we pushed through.
Now, as we celebrate three years, we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished—but even more excited about what’s ahead. We’re continuing to innovate, experiment, and evolve. The goal has always been bigger than just running a restaurant—it’s about making a lasting impact on the culinary scene in Arizona and setting new benchmarks for Indian cuisine in America.

I’m an entrepreneur driven by a deep passion for Indian culture, hospitality, and culinary innovation. My work centers around creating unique dining experiences that introduce the richness of Indian cuisine in ways that are modern, refined, and memorable.
We specialize in elevated Indian fine dining, blending authentic flavors with global techniques and world-class presentation. Our flagship restaurant—launched three years ago in Phoenix—has earned accolades such as Best New Restaurant (2022), recognition among Eater’s Top 100 Restaurants in Arizona, and the Best International Cuisine Award by ARS. These honors reflect not just quality, but the impact we’ve made in shifting how Indian cuisine is perceived in the local market.
What I’m most proud of is that we didn’t take the easy route. We took a bold step to fill a void—there was no Indian fine dining presence in the Valley when we started. Now, we’ve helped spark a movement. And the best part? We’re just getting started.
We’re thrilled to announce that a second concept is opening soon in Phoenix—a new restaurant that will continue to push culinary boundaries and introduce something truly fresh to the Arizona food scene.
What sets us apart is our commitment to storytelling through food. It’s not just about feeding people—it’s about creating a journey through India’s diverse regions, spices, traditions, and innovation. By collaborating with India’s top talent like Chef Sujan Sarkar, and building a strong team locally, we’re setting a new standard not just for Indian cuisine, but for hospitality in Arizona as a whole.
