Meet Beth Groener | Realtor®, At Home Realty Group

Local, Loyal, and Here to Help You Home

I’m originally from the Chicago area, where I spent many years balancing work and raising my two daughters. My career path has been anything but ordinary — I’ve worked in restaurants, managed budgets at a safe school for at-risk youth, and spent a decade running operations for an internet and phone company inside one of Chicago’s largest convention centers. Each role taught me something different about people, service, and perseverance.

When technology began to replace my position, I pivoted — working as a bookkeeper for a fine-dining restaurant and eventually running my own small business, Beth’s Glass House, selling collectible and antique glass online. I also helped with estate sales and mid-century furniture — all of which sharpened my eye for design, value, and storytelling through spaces and objects.

In 2023, after my husband’s retirement, we made the big move to Maricopa, Arizona. We’d searched high and low for the right home — and when I finally found “the one,” I knew this was where we were meant to be. That experience reignited a lifelong passion for real estate. I enrolled in real estate school, earned my license, and joined a Broker, determined to help others find their perfect place to call home.

Starting fresh in a new state at 60 wasn’t easy. I didn’t know a soul here, so I dove headfirst into networking, local events, and community life. It’s been incredible to watch my business grow — from my first buyer closing to now having listings and new clients each month. I’ve built my brand around being Local, Loyal, and Here to Help You Home — because to me, this isn’t just about selling houses. It’s about helping people find comfort, connection, and belonging.

If my story shows anything, it’s that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself or chase a dream. I’ve come a long way from my days in Chicago, and I couldn’t be prouder to now serve Maricopa as both a Realtor and a neighbor.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road — but every bump along the way has shaped who I am today. Starting over in a brand-new state at 60 was both exciting and terrifying. I didn’t know anyone here in Maricopa, so I had to rebuild my life and business completely from scratch. That meant putting myself out there — joining networking events, knocking on doors, learning the Arizona market inside and out, and proving myself all over again.

Before that, life brought its own challenges — raising two daughters on my own, working multiple jobs, caring for my elderly mother, and losing my beloved dog, Max, to a heartbreaking disease. Through all of it, I learned the importance of persistence, compassion, and finding strength even when things feel uncertain.

Every challenge has pushed me to grow, to adapt, and to never stop believing that new chapters are possible at any age. My journey into real estate came from both passion and perseverance — and I’m proud to say the struggles made the success that much more meaningful.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a Realtor® with At Home Realty Group here in Maricopa, Arizona — and my approach is simple: people first, homes second. I specialize in helping buyers and sellers feel confident, informed, and cared for throughout the process. My brand, “Local, Loyal, and Here to Help You Home,” reflects exactly how I work — with loyalty to my clients, deep community involvement, and a true passion for helping people find “the one.”

I focus primarily on residential real estate in and around Maricopa — from family homes and first-time buyers to sellers looking to make their next move. I’m known for my attention to detail, creative marketing, and tireless work ethic. Whether it’s hosting open houses, designing neighborhood events, or showcasing listings with fresh, local storytelling, I go all-in for my clients.

What sets me apart is that I’ve walked in their shoes. I know what it’s like to search for the perfect home, to start over in a new place, and to chase a dream later in life. My clients aren’t just transactions — they’re relationships. I’m proud of the trust I’ve built in this community and how quickly my business has grown through referrals, heart, and genuine connection.

Real estate, to me, isn’t about sales — it’s about helping people find where their life happens next.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
For me, success isn’t about numbers — it’s about impact. It’s about waking up each day proud of the work I do, the people I help, and the relationships I build along the way. Success is knowing that my clients trust me, that my community sees me as someone who truly cares, and that I’m growing not just in business, but as a person.

I define success by connection — helping someone find a home where their life unfolds, where memories are made, and where they feel safe and seen. If I can make even one person’s journey a little easier or brighter, that’s success to me.

It also means never stopping. Whether I’m learning, creating, networking, or just showing up for someone who needs guidance, success is built one intentional step at a time. It’s not a finish line — it’s a way of living with purpose, gratitude, and heart.
